But those mid roll ads were jarring... I wish i could add this to my sleep playlist 😞 They really dont take into consideration the ASMR community when it comes to ads... No one wants to go from peaceful and sleepy to jump scare ads lol. Pre roll and post roll ads are much more common in ASMR for that reason. But KZread really needs to come to a resolution with ASMRtists... Softer, quieter ads... I dont even care if they are subliminal at this point... just dont interrupt my sleep KZread! Lol

If KZread were to knock ads off asmr content that means no money ASMR creators & that isn’t fair. So your only solution is to pay for the content you consume aka KZread premium . You can’t expect creators to make hours of content without making money.

@@Laoisebish I wasn't suggesting that at all... I placed all blame on KZread and not the creator.... I was so happy for her to reach 1k recently and grace us with a 2hr video... My beef is with KZread. Not the creator. 💜

@@Laoisebish I want and think they deserve to be compensated... I even made suggestions above... I don't think it's her or and ASMR channels fault aside from choosing midrolls while it gets sorted out... But I firmly don't skip ads beginning and end so they get full compensation. It's just mid rolls on ASMR that defeats the purpose of watching... If I'm having anxiety and get jump scared it defeats the whole purpose

yeah i’m pretty sure content creators can choose to have mid roll ads or not and still get paid by having them at either just the beginning or end

​@@Laoisebishas someone who is subscribed to literally 20 different ASMR channels, you can choose to roll ads at the start and end instead of the middle. You still get revenue, but it doesn't interrupt your channel's main focus. Most choose ads at the start without them at the end, as this wakes people up. Now yt doesn't give you a choice to turn it off at the end; you can only stop mid rolling ones. Many creators have reached out to their community to find resolutions. You gain followers by providing the content they are looking for. If you need to roll ads in the middle, then you can do it for certain videos and place a disclaimer. I have no issue watching these as I work, but I would like to know when I'm falling asleep to them if there is an ad in the middle, so I can choose another channel for sleep. Also, not everyone can afford yt premium, and there are plenty of other creators that don't do ads in the middle. It's a competitive market, so ppl have to make themselves marketable.
