You did an excellent job considering the mannequin has long hair. I heard more than one hairstylist stating that they do not like to work with natural long hair. However, you can do an excellent job with long, medium, or short hair.

I braid the mannequins hair first then before the braid gets too thin towards the end, I add in the braiding hair
