It's mostly on that Oliver. Having 3 backup line man and guys switched around to make a make shift line up did not do mahomes an favors. He was running for his life all night and was making insane throws in crazy situations

The Chiefs had 2 weeks to prepare for their make shift offensive line. You have the supposed next GOAT and an offensive guru in Andy Reid. They couldn’t scheme up something to help...especially with all those weapons? What’s funny is that people were saying that the Chiefs were still gonna win even with the make shift line.

I absolutely love the fact that Nick was a gangster taking this L, he not only admitted defeat but also talked about the reason why Brady will be hard to catch as the GOAT. Great job and I hope people understand that when they admit they are wrong that people respect there point of view MORE !!!

Mahomes scrambled for 497 yards last night, seriously thats a real stat. That shows you how horrible their offensive line was he had zero time to get through his reads and throw the ball. And their were two crazy passes that hit the receivers right in the hands in the endzone but they were dropped. Credit to the Bucs defense they just out-coached Andy Reid. Chiefs need to fix the O line this offseason and they will be right back in the playoffs next year. Congrats to Brady and the Bucs.

Tampa was not the worst franchise like people saying. it was loaded with talent then got even more talent. They just needed a veteran and guidance which they got the best guy for it in Tom. Tampa coaching staff was loaded as well. Nick is just shifting blame tho.

Literally not 1 person has mentioned this. The Bucs watched a ton of the Saints vs Chiefs tape. Saints found out if you take the L/R tackles and secure the outside where Mahomes can’t roll out you can/will affect our team. Bucs controlled the outside pushing Mahomes to step up in the pocket that he had zero time to look downfield for

So why didn’t they do that this past year, when Mahomes flat out embarrassed Tampa? I think this had way more to do with the Chiefs lineman being out then it had to do with Tampa having a great scheme. Plug in Fisher and Schwartz and this game is entirely different

Brady also had a great game. He threw 3 tds and got them the lead in first half and then the defense took over. His yards weren't high because he didn't have to go nuts in the second half. He was on pace for at least 300 yards, but half the third quarter and 4th quarter was about playing clean, running the ball, and running out the clock. Like Brady and Belichick would say, great complimentary football all around.

Watch last years super bowl where the chiefs got away with it all game

It was Barrett, Pierre Paul, Vea and Suh that allowed Tampa to keep 2 safties high. Todd Bowles just went with that. It didn't take a genius to figure out it was obviously the best plan to keep Hill and Kelce from making the big plays KC relies on. It worked for 3 quarters in the last game.

Say what you will about not liking Nick Wright's takes. But he takes his L with as much conviction as he makes his Takes.

Mahomes losing to Brady is like Lebron getting beat by 43 year old Jordan in the Finals and Jordan getting Finals MVP and not a 6th title but a 7th (and not on the Bulls but on an NBA team that hadn't been to the playoffs in a decade). In this scenario, no rational thinking person would ever say Lebron could pass Jordan in the debate conversation. The debate is absolutely over. Tom Brady is the GOAT. Mahomes is amazing and hopefully wins more than 1 Super Bowl to surpass other greats like Rogers and Brees, but he will never pass Brady, especially after last night.

Game was not Mahomes fault. He was doing everything he could but he was pressured on over 50% of plays, dude is still incredible

Nick it very clear that power to be protected Brady legendary status and NFL Referees made sure that Brady stay on the field after three and out, with Trumped up defensive penalties.

Those early flags didn't help either.. not saying it would have mattered but it added another 10 points to Bucs total

So sad and disappointing, but you know we’ll be back next year with a chip on our shoulder!
