    Dream Pedalboard Brad. I made my first P&W board in 1985 from an old school desk with a few Boss pedals velcroed on. In those days there were very few electric guitars in churches. I ran into an Orange 80W head and 4x12 cab! How things have changed. I have my ideal board now with many of the things he has but not quite so luxurious.

    I am currently working on my 2nd pedalboard that I hope to eventually use at my church. These videos help me think out new ideas and what the rig needs versus what I used on my home pedalboard. I already have an Iridium and a tuner. I need to focus on power supply, 1981 DRV and Strymon Cloudburst to work out main sounds. Thanks.

    I ended up with the Echosystem because of the two independent engines, I was leaning Nemesis because I LOVE SA's editing software (and I hate setting presets on Empress stuff, lol) but if you do seperate delays on Nemesis, it has to be the same engine, ie 2 tapes or 2 analogs. That's why I ended up Echosystem and yeah, sounds just top-notch. I'm still trying to figure out how I want to use my Zoia, I might have bit off more than I can chew there. I think I had in mind that I'd get CBA Mood or Microcosm sounds out of it more easily, and there are a few patches like that available on patchstorage, but to try to dial that in myself would require more time than I can even comprehend. I can see it being a good catch all for mod stuff, but I'm pretty happy with my mod section as is, I'm really just looking for spacey stereo washy reversey chirpy out of control nonsense stuff.

  • @BryanMorganGoogle
    @BryanMorganGoogle Жыл бұрын

    Brad what does your typical Sunday usage for this look? Mastermind preset per song, and different sections of the song, or are you mostly using the loops manually in and out, or do you have more generic settings/gain stages on the Mastermind that you normally live on?

    I'd love to see a video to assist those of us who are on a more minimalist budget. I have been acoustic player for years, but our church has need for electric player(s), so I'm considering making the jump in an attempt to meet that need. What would be your choice for budget-friendly guitar, and what are the 3, 4, 5 pedals that you would HAVE to have to get going.

    You are watching a different-type of video here. This is really for informational and entertainment purposes haha Have you been following us for any amount of time tho? We bang the Line 6 drum and always suggest it. Not just cause we like it and make product for it but because it’s really the best stuff out there. What does budget mean tho? Very subjective. Pod Go is going to be the best and cheapest way to get a reliable and quality piece of gear. You start breaking down what you need for a rig and it can’t be beat at all.

    Like Bradford said, budget is relative, but if you need an entry-level guitar that is still going to hold up for a bit, Squier's Classic Vibe series is great for the price, especially if you know someone who can set it up for you at a discount. You can find them used around here for 300 all day, sometimes 200 and under. I think they did a video tricking one out with a bunch of upgrades a while back.

    With the current modelers out there like Helix, QC, etc. and their respective effects, do you think you would able to replicate your entire pedal board into a modeler given all the pedals and settings you have? Like if for some odd reason you weren't able to bring your pedal board, could you make/use an almost equivalent patch or is this where having a pedal board shines with all the extra things you can add?

If you feel great pairing with the 3-5 colors you got at your disposal that’s great! Did you check the manual? They show you there. You also have to have a V2 but they’ve been out for a few years now. You have to adjust dipswitches inside the pedal.

    How do you use selah quartz? What does it control?

  • @landguitar

    @landguitar

    11 ай бұрын

    Quartz runs the tempo, the "clock". Although the PBC can do midi timing, the Quartz is easier to have in reach for "on the fly" adjustments by tap tempo or even using the preset or tempo knob. Plus, you program presets on it with a pretty usable PC-based editor, and control it (ID the tempo preset per song) with the RJM PC editor as well. Very usable, dependable and effective for time based and even modulation effects!

  • @worshiptutorials

    If you want the ramping tremolo sound, you can’t really get it in Helix. You basically have to map tremolo speed to an LFO, which Helix can’t do. You can get somewhat close with the stepped tremolo (I forget the actual name of it in Helix), but it’s not smooth like an LFO would be.

    well during the talking we typically mute the guitar audio just in case. but no gate. Suhr has a silent coil system that's pretty insane. That's in the guitar and it definitely helps with 60 cycle hum. But also good power (isolated power supplies - I use the Strymon stuff) and cabling done right (thank you Brian Omilion) are the big reasons why it's quiet too!

    The best and most hilarious video l guess l will see this week. Should have saved it for April’s FOOL DAY. The over abundance in this video overwhelmed me so. I had moments of out loud laughing while thinking, he’s serious. I mean this is really something for all of us out there playing 5 songs on Sunday morning to strive for. I mean we need this to accurately reproduce the songs that our team has spent a whopping minutes on rehearsing. I don’t see how l manage with JUST my Kemper and custom shop Strat. Just asking ??? I’m estimating this worship rig to be knocking on 15K. Honestly I have been watching Tone X demos all day and l think that stand alone unit sounds as good as any tone you mustard up. You mentioned throughout the video that it’s a matter of feel. How this sounds somewhat the same but this feel cost $350. And this $400 pedal feels and gosh this $800 pedal…..What a FEEL🤔 l ended the video just feeling BROKE.
