Home Free is awesome! You won't hear better harmonies anywhere. Although they are Country based, they can sing anything. They do not have a lead singer. They have four guys with world class voices that take turns on lead, it all depends on the song they are doing.

I often like their covers better than the original.

You want to hear one that shows alot of their versatility.. try Do You Hear What I Hear, Tim the bass, will absolutely drop the floor on you. He starts in his higher register, before dropping the boom on you in the middle and end. Check it out, it'll floor you, gaurenteed.

They are an acapella group, love their harmonies. You should check out "Blue Ain't Your Color" or their mashup of "Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On"

Loved your reactions! Home Free is just ....... ahhhh ---- too good. Oh, and did I say versatile, amazing, phenomenal. They're abilities, well - not so sure they've found their limits as of yet. I've seen the recommendations/requests ... and to be truthful, y'alls in for a treat. T, I agree with you 100%. Do Not Get Me Wrong, I love the original, but I love this version more. Both versions are unbeatable.

New sub here. I haven’t read much of the comments yet but this is an all a cappella group (they use no instruments) . The beat boxer Adam Rupp is a world champion and can make pretty much any sound he wants to. Tim Foust, the deep bass, has a phenomenal 5 octave range and can sing the phone book and make it sound good. Rob, the lead on this song, is hilarious as well as he is talented (they all are really). The high tenor, Austin Brown, has a voice of pure gold and Adam Chance, baritone, is part of the spine of the group. He has a three octave range and gets little time to shine but he does the bass part when Tim takes lead. The way these guys mesh together is inhuman and knowing that they don’t use instruments makes them sound even better. One of my favorites is their version of Ring of Fire featuring Avi Kaplan of Pentatonix (another awesome acapella group you should check out if you haven’t already)

Subscribing to see you discover HF, but would offer another suggestion. A "rival" A Capella group that won the same competition the season prior, Pentatonix. They also have a sick beatbox and bass combo and amazing harmonies, but tend to do more pop, R&B, and dance (EDM) style covers. I would recommend a few to start. 'Hallelujah', 'Imagine', and 'Daft Punk' are their most popular covers from early on. Any of their 'Evolution of...' series (Ariana Grande, Beyonce, or Michael Jackson) are "sung live" performances which shows off their Grammy Award-winning arranging capabilities and flawless transitions. They have 100+ videos to choose from with 3 billion+ views. So, you really can't go wrong with any of them, including their originals which are all outstanding. Like Home Free, people often say that they like Pentatonix versions better than the originals. If you chose to explore them I will gladly offer more suggestions and info. Until then, I will await and enjoy your journey with Home Free.
