A tip when exploring is to only make torches on the left hand side to make a trail leading to the way you came in. Also dig upwards to the surface every now and then and build landmark monuments to mark the site from a distance. That way you don't get lost.

uhm I'm not so sure about that-- im a girl I barely ever use torches when mining, but I also kinda dig straight down and just do the water bucket mlg if there's lava when I fall. I miss a lot. Edit: I have never gotten this many likes before!! Thanks!!

@@plungin8157 a joke that only applies 5 years back when the game wasn't as widespread. It's common knowledge that for some reason girls play less videogames than boys. So if the game was smaller, it means less girls were playing it, son the demographic might match. But not in the present day. So this joke is inapropiate for the time. Like a dead meme but was born dead.

what's wrong with putting a lot of torches? it gives me a lot of peace knowing i'll be able to roam freely without bumping into hostile mobs.

Tip one: put a torch every 6-8 block Tip two: wait until a mob jumps a block so you can attack it easier Tip three: always use a shield Tip four: practice how to fight against a swarm of mobs Tip five: always have a water bucket and blocks Tip six: if it's your first time on a survival, just use one iron pickaxe and 2-3 stone pickaxe Tip seven: use something to mark the exit That's it, now I can feel like I said what I actually wanted instead of giving advices to a random girl

He already broke the Golden Minecraft Rule: Never dig straight down, you could fall into lava or in a cave full of monsters, or into a vast space where you can get fall damage.

I love decorating but every time I ask my brother to build a base it looks like crap (dirt house) We ever did a build battle and mine was a cute cottage house and meanwhile my brother build a dirt house with lava and water everywhere and mob heads placed all over the floor (he said he was building a mansion tho) 🥲

I make stair cases down so i can get back up and dig in other areas if needed too or to go back into that same area later on. But the too many torched together hurts lmao 😂

Honestly, as a girl, I wish this was true. I mean, sometimes I use the stair technique instead of digging straight down, but I always tend to forget to bring any source of light whatsoever. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I end up having to go all the way back to my house after finding a cave and realizing that I forgot to bring any torches.

You could just take wood with you, coal is easy to find in caves, then you can easily craft tons of torches without having to head back home.

My problem is that I forget to empty my inventory before I go mining, so so I end up taking an inventory full of cobblestone, saplings, and a practically dead wooden pickaxe instead of wood, water, and the normal things you would bring to a mining session. I'm pretty sure there have been times where I have literally forgotten to bring any pickaxes whatsoever.
