we're in love is actually a song that lucy wrote about phoebe and julien!! if you listen closely, when lucy says 'you know the ones' you can hear that phoebe in the back says 'i know the ones'. it's so cute.

Satanist and Letter to an Old Poet are absolutely S-Tier songs. Lucy’s verse in Satanist is some of the best lyricism I’ve heard in awhile it’s just too good

This album felt so.... different from their EP, in the BEST way possible. It's so cinematic, brutal, but at the same time so soft and sweet that it just RIPS your heart & soul apart but in all the right ways. It's been two weeks and i still can't get enough of this record (pun intended). My absolute favorite is Satanist, it's been on repeat for quite a few days now for me. However, I don't know why, but Phoebe's songs (Revolution 0 and Letter To An Old Poet specifically) just HIT hard. Don't get me wrong Julien and Lucy are also phenomenal on the album, but these two songs just... wow.

i like your reactions becuase theyre not over the top or exagerrated, its more peaceful and real. I love boygenius!! great video!!

Incredible album. Really loving Satanist and Anti-Curse. I feel like this album pairs really well with Paramore's This Is Why album, especially the later tracks like Crave, Liar and Thick Skull.

I feel like for me Emily I’m sorry, letter to an old poet, not strong enough, and revolution 0 are all my number ones and then RIGHT below are true blue, satanist, and cool about it (especially Phoebes messed up verse😂) then at number 3 is we’re in love and 20$, number 4 has Leonard Cohen, Anti-curse, and without you without them😂 it’s so hard not to have multiple favorites😂
