It's a lot less work taking the dogs out an a walk than cleaning up the house after them. If you love a dog, you have to be willing to go out of your way to provide for their needs, not just treat them like living toys or fashion accessories.

I love walking with my dog, I'm really going to miss it when he's gone (which I'm afraid won't be long anymore :'( ), It's nice to enjoy some time together with your dog, it's relaxing, it's fun for the dog, and indeed, it would be more work to clean up after a dog that isn't walked at all (and I know my dog would be completely miserable if he had to use his house or even his garden as a toilet). This lady should rehome these dogs somewhere they are well taken care of and treated like a dog, not a fashion accessory. And then she can get a new dog: the kind they sell at toy stores that you don't need to feed or walk or clean up after ;-)

I cannot believe she said “but if I take them for a walk, they’ll always wanna go for a walk”. Ridiculous owner that doesn’t deserve dogs. Edit: And even after Victoria left, they still weren’t walking the dogs enough. Infuriating!

I don't get these kinds of people. I literally show up to work early before my client gets home so that I can take a few minutes to sit with the dog and take her for a quick walk. Dog's not even mine, but I think it's just normal to care about any dog more than half the owners on this show seem to.

Lol, well a blast wouldn't be very "micro." I agree that the woman is acting selfishly. There's likely more going on here in terms of power dynamics. Candidly? I suspect this guy married a pretty girl as a trophy wife. When you "get" something (or someone) for the wrong reasons? You also get the consequences. Just as they both are struggling with the natural consequences of this woman getting dogs as some kind of warped extension of herself. It's interesting, that's for sure!

This Mario is getting a raw deal. Although he appears gruff you can see many times in the episode how much he's willing to make the efforts and how genuinely happy he was during the training. "Princess" could have had him purring like a cat since he's very much taken with her but she went about it all the wrong ways. There's more things I could say about her but my comment would certainly disapear. I'm a woman btw.

Well I'm a guy and I ain't afraid to say it. She doesn't deserve him. He ain't perfect and aspects of his personality are completely different to me, but that doesn't mean I don't have eyes. She doesn't love him anymore (unsure whether she ever did) and yet will not cut him loose. He loves her and in spite being pushed beyond his limit over and over he has always come back to try again. If the shoe was on the other foot, I don't think she'd bother coming back. Everything's always his fault and she will not accept when things are her.

How has he put up with this for nine months? I wouldn't be able to last nine hours in her presence, and maybe not even nine minutes if she's around the dogs, too.

This owner is the best example of why people should be forced to do a test before getting a pet. Blows my mind how unaware of their pets needs someone can be in the times of the internet.

Don't threaten to break up. Don't threaten to move out. Break up. Move out. Shut up and just get on with it already.

In this case, it's clearly the woman that's toxic. She wants the dogs, but she's unwilling to even walk the dogs, only doing the unnecessary stuff like putting those clips in their hair, and while having so much time to herself (since she doesn't even work), she can't even be bothered to give a bit of attention to the guy. She could've used all the time she cleaned up the poo to walk the dog AND given the guy a hug, but it's obvious that she doesn't want to because she doesn't actually love him.

I feel if she just gave Mario a hug and a kiss when he got home it would make his day.

It's obvious that the reason Mario threatens to leave is because it's the only way he can get attention from Dyanne. And Dyanne is so oblivious and into herself that she can't see the pain she causes on not only Mario but her dogs too. Everything she does is for her. She tells Mario not to leave but treats him like a ghost and she takes care of the dogs but does the bare minimum because they love her unconditionally.

Dyanne and Mario have no idea of how GOOD their dogs are. In this episode, Victoria trains Dyanne and Mario more than she trains the dogs, which appear to be naturally better behaved than most of the dogs we see in these episodes. Mario got a GREAT KEY to Dyanne's heart and a wonderful way to end any argument. All he has to do is brush that little dog and Dyanne will melt into his arms!

Lmao yes. But they still need to make sure they walk the dogs, make sure they pee and poo outside. Less time consumed for cleaning the house. But mario being involved w/ d dogs will surely make that woman happy.

For as dysfunctional they are as a couple and as much work as they need to do as a couple, I honestly think they mesh well as the… distinct personalities they are. They are both very uniquely alike in so many ways and I can see why they were drawn together. Like, they seem to be the right fit for each other, if only they do their own work and the work with each other. Mario seems to genuinely care about her, and is willing to put in the work. As… unaware… as Diane was, I am so thankful for those dogs that Victoria came in and educated Diane on what dogs actually need in order to be happy.

i completely agree . they seem dysfunctional in sm ways but in a way they're also perfect for each other as they are so opposite yet similar . mario seems to genuinely want to open up at multiple times though and diane is too much in her own world . she's unaware of what she has .

Mario may have a gruff facade, but it's easy to see he is a genuine guy who really loves her and is willing to try. Really, the only thing that he was complaining about was that he wasn't getting any attention, and rightly so. He was willing to go the extra mile, and he's very taken with her. She's a Princess taking advantage.

Every woman I've met who had dogs they treat & dress up as babies have had something traumatic relating to babies earlier in their lives. Often they yearn for a real baby and these dogs are the replacement

1. Dogs are NOT your 'babies'. She clearly has low emotional intelligence and struggles to empathise or bond with other humans and that's why she can't bond to Mario. I also thinks he has a level of entitlement and tries to exercise power over her with his job/provision. That isn't enough to warrant a servant who gives you nothing but smiles. 2. The way she treats those dogs suggests anything but love. None of them look happy at all. Not even a walk? What a sad life. They're more like toys or animated house props used to fill a personal and material void.

I lived in a 2nd storey flat, I must have gone out between 6-8 times daily and enjoyed every minute, plus got to know my neighbours, dogs adore socializing, I am so sad for the ignorant people that think just by pampering they will have a good dog. I have an appeal for this community and everyone who loves Victoria's training and her compassion as much as I do. Often times people get judged here very harshly and I completely agree that if someone mistreats their dog this should be criticized or if a dog even gets abused it is absolutely justified to express one's emotions in the comment section and judge a person's actions. However, sometimes even people who came around at the end and really tried to better their dog's life are getting a lot of slack in this comment section. It is okay and important to speak one's mind, be constructive, point out behaviors one doesn't like or express one's feelings but I feel like it turns into hate comments sometimes and in my opinion this doesn't match with what we see and learn from Victoria in this show. She puts her foot down and tells people if they did something that made things worse for their dogs. But she never gets disrespectful. She seems to be a compassionate and loving person and I think we, as a community, should take that as an example and also not be disrespectful. Moreover, keep in mind that these episodes have been filmed years and years ago and we do not know if people might have changed for the better or even lost their fur babies and we just make them feel extremely bad or sad with our comments.

I just love the way Victoria pronounces Hallelujah as Hallelulia. It's so cute.

Thing is and I just did this for the first time, it’s not hard to train a dog to go out for the toilet, it’s mildly hard to teach a dog to go on command. It’s really easy to see that this woman isn’t a good dog owner.

Most people choose animals over people because they can mistreat them and the animals won't hold them accountable. 🙄

My dogs are trained to go outside to use the bathroom, they are trained to let us know they need to go out. And when they are in at night, we put puppy pads down, and pick them up in the morning. It's not hard to clean when you see a mess.

Those dogs are so precious and deserve better. They NEED walks!

Victoria, you truly are, a miracle worker! Heck, I was ready to walk out for both of them! lol I hope they continue to work together for their dogs and their relationship. Terrific showVictoria!

She is infatuated with the dogs, like little dolls. Loving some (inclusing animals) is doing whats right for them and wanting whats best for them. I feel sorry for Mario, he seems to be getting the brunt of it all.

walk your freaking dogs woman ,it’s not hard and great fun , I has five big dogs for many years they got walked in two phases of for 3 hours a day . Your little dogs should be no problem. Walk your dogs .

Im sure Mario isnt an easy guy to be with but I feel like he deserved better than this

If you want a dogs, you have to walk them two times a day or more, every day! Dogs are so kind and loyal to us, we have to give them a good life and walking them is an important part to a good life of a dog. If you don’t want to walk them because of the rain etc. you shouldn’t have dogs.

It’s so selfish to get a dog without the household agreement. It’s forceful to bring everybody under 1 roof a new responsibility without wanting it.

@@anonymoose116 it doesn’t change the fact everybody in the house has to be a part of the dog. Taking on somebody with a dog is agreement to take on the dog. Just like having kids involved. Accept somebody you accept every part of them.

I don't like how she scapegoats mario and gaslight him. At least it's better by the end but I feel like the lady needs to work on her own personal issues. There's something definitely deeper going on here. At least she has herself a good man to help her.

Lulu looks so depressed. It’s great to see her response to encouragement. Clearly she does not want Mario in her home.
