Now that I think about it, if this case/couple is real, why wouldn't he have told her the truth about planning the engagement when she originally made her concerns known? Why not tell the truth prior to traveling to the show and airing out their business on national television? As I said, there is no surprise big enough for one to plant the seeds of mistrust and infidelity in their partner's mind. Once that seed is there, ain't ish else for it to do but grow.

While I am also still a little skeptical, if I asked my girlfriend's best friend for help planning an engagement and we got caught at her house it would be very hard to come up with a good excuse, other than the truth, and I would be scared she thought I was cheating. To be fair, I wouldn't go to my girlfriend's best friend's house alone to plan this because I would have already thought about this potential mix-up and wanted to avoid it. For that reason, I'm still suspicious.

Lol so many suspicious people. I could see this (or maybe a surprise wedding or something) a mile off with the little indications from both of them. I’ve known people who’ve planned pretty intricate surprise engagements before, so that this is what they were doing and that they went to such lengths, was no surprise. I mean he waited a full month to even kiss her and the way she described him, he seems like the person to do this too. I sense a lot of people who watch this are jaded, or just like the “bitter”endings. Maybe he is cheating, but I don’t see enough evidence here. As for intuition, that can be bunk (just like lie detector tests). If someone is so jealous or been hurt in the past, they can see things which aren’t there. And that kind of relationship can be pretty horrible to endure and even make you change to a behaviour which makes you look suspicious.

I honestly believe the best friend doesn’t want him though. She’s wayyyyyy too pretty !
