Guys, George said "Cody was afraid to peform the single" after she didn't get to the final two. She had been sick all week, she posted that on her Twitter and Instagram. And while she was in the V room Ricky had to bring her water because she couldn't stop coughing. George probably took a few of her parts because of that. If you look at George's post and tweets and the rehearsal clips, it's so clear he really cares about Cody. He literally said "I see myself in Cody" & "I'm a little bit in love with Cody". Why the fuck would he be a "diva" (as the people in the comment section like to call him) and steal Cody's spotlight? I don't get all the hate.

I NEVER SAY I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HATE.... I would not want anyone to assume I am stupid and unworldly. I know that there are people who have big differences and tastes. Some give birth, some kill. Some will never agree to be happy, som will never agree to share. Some will always focus on the negative, whereas other will just say what they liked. If you had one vote would it be to lift someone, or complain about the guy talking crap in the back of the theater. What is important, what you feel is a bummer, or what is important?

Different people have different opinions. We must respect all of them. This duet is truly fantastic. Cody is such a good singer! That's why she can follow Boy George so easily. Great work!

It was such perfect harmony it brought tears to my eyes. The only duet I enjoyed tonight. They complemented each other perfectly and Cody's voice is amazing.

Cody chose the song and she was unwell so took a back seat for this number as she had one, possibly two, solo performances. It's better that BG led Imagine than he joined her for Mad World ...

OMG once again Boy George wins the vocal competition. Absolutely awesome! I could listen to this all night. I remember when Boy George and Culture Club first burst onto the charts - his catch phrase was gender bender. All of those people who used labels need to remember labels belong on jars. I've listen to this over and over and sounds unrehersed like a last minute choice I believe he was trying to save codys voice for Madworld as she was really poorly at the time I thought the low production value of the whole thing was on purpose to make sure she didn't win but since she really didn't want to win I also get this as well x Cody is not a pop star never will be she's far to talented and opinionated to dance to the tune of the money men she will release music and it will be epic and she will have things to say and feelings to convey xx

Boy George is so talented ...He survived to success and stil has taste and ability to make his art evolve ...The duet is beautiful ...I think some comments are unfair with him ...maybe the production wanted him to sing because a large part of the audience is watching the show to see its favourite stars and then discover the new ones ... The young Cody is just beginning and she fits so well with BG 's universe I can't wait to see the result ...I wish her the best

I mean did you see her in the V room talking to Marvin? she could barely talk so Ricky had to get her a glass of water. and by the look on boy Georges face at the beginning I think they made a last minute decision for him to take the lead so she wouldn't strain her voice and stop half way through.

Boy George should never stood on that stage. Cody now has a shadow casting over her because of Boy George's ego wanting to be on stage on every damn performance. This is NOT about Boy George, this is about NEW recording artists and Boy George MUST understand that. Boy George needs to stop stealing peoples thunder and 5 minutes of fame for ego reasons. Im upset because Cody became a backup singer and George stole her spotlight. This is Cody's time, not George's time. and George seriously needs to stop stealing peoples spotlights. I kinda disagree...two biggest mistakes were the beyond horrific song choice, and her foolish choice of Oh Boy over Paloma. Paloma would have helped Cody's and her style shine.

Eh, no. She is the underlying vocals on this with him. She never had one word where he wasn't singing as well, as he did. I see what Tracy Ip is saying. If whatever rumors I have read are true, I hope that this is what she wanted to have a song that didn't suit her and to basically be voted off. Supposedly she didn't want to win, since most of the winners don't do as well as the runner-ups do. Whatever the case, this was definitely the worst performance from her; could have been a hell of a lot better with another song or just her not being back-up vocals.

The perfect coach and person to be in Cody's life... Boy George was amazing in his own right and a trend setter. He was not the usual and not afraid to be himself with an amazing career. Cody looks like his daughter and I wish her the best...

+King Armish Boy George wishes he had such a unique voice like Cody's. He doesn't even sound too well anymore. He was a legend, but he didn't even let her a single sentence to shine. He used his one minute of glory and didn't let her shine, which was the actual point of the performance. Ricky did much better in this regard.
