I LOVE how Connor shared his blanket with Christian in the clip when they were sitting beside each other 😭🥲 that seems to be a safety/comfort item for Connor, so sharing it imparts a certain level of trust and respect for his new friend. I hope they're lifelong friends and that they can both keep their kindness well into adulthood!!

This is so true!! I’m a preschool teacher and I see my kids immediately begin playing with one another as if they knew each other forever even though they just met. They don’t even know each other’s name for a while, maybe even a week.

Actually I didn't notice, but I went back (of course too far at first 🙄) but then spotted it! So sweet. I just wish a day will come when videos of two different races getting along, or an act of kindness to another doesn't go viral...because it's the norm.

They also had a show during Christmas and mom asked her daughter if she was going to hold my sons hand, as if the child was his guardian angel. Mom was teaching her child compassion for others.

I have 3-4 friends who are neurodiverse, this was wholesome as it reminds me how despite their differences from other students, they can still be great people.

People have to be nice to each other and guide each other and move each other without rejecting. There’s a big difference between guiding and rejecting. The sexuality is a big issue when people pursue passions of the same sex, that goes against Gods command. Much like eve could’ve eaten out of all the fruits except the forbidden one, heterosexuals can choose anyone they want but their own gender. It’s a matter of obedience, Eve didn’t care and clearly that’s why we all have to die now. There’s also a big difference between having feelings and acting upon them, it only becomes a sin if the person goes and acts upon those desires and has a relationship with the person of the same sex. If a person has homosexual feelings but loves God above all things and gives him/herself fully to God and chooses not to give in to disobedience then it is not a sin. 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

Good kid. As he grows up, he may encounter bad classmates. You can bet that there will be bullies, trolls, and jealous characters that make nice kids act sour. Connor reminds me of my nephew, sweet as can be, only has different mannerisms and ways he expresses himself because of his autism. It makes me happy to see there are kids who can get past those differences and still be friends.

Aside from kind, that was very brave of him. So often we see someone feeling down and be too embarrassed or afraid to reach out to them.

It’s a shame that children have better sense than adults when it comes to caring about others! Look where we are today

My heart broke when his mother spoke of the fear she feels on a daily basis, that someone will make fun of him. The little boy who approached him is a little sweetheart, with a huge heart.

My brother was born with Asperger's Syndrome...letting another person touch anything of theirs is a high compliment. It shows incredible trust. People who have that condition are often *very* connected with things that keep them feeling safe.

Iam a kintergarden teacher. I see alot of kindness in my class. The children help eachother so much with everything. They look out for eachother. Thats so adorable to see. When they see a new kid crying they would comfort the other kid. And help them. Its the sweetest thing. I always encourage them to be kind and help eachother. Iam so gratfull of my class.

This had me at my desk in tears it’s sad that you have adults we can’t behave without passing judgement and yet you have this amazing young man being raised by an outstanding family. Both young men deserves all the blessings in the world

This might be a slip but Christian, is a little boy not a young man. I say this because too often African American children are unfairly and wrongfully viewed and treated as adults and not children, which lead to dangerous and deadly consequences.

This person simply posted a piece of Scripture and immediately got two critical comments towards them. And Lady Truth - Jesus is not being contradictive there. You are actually referring to the exact same verse Rafter is quoting except you are using the King James wording which is a translation issue from Greek to English. The verse actually says "Permit" or "allow" the children to come to me as it reads in the original Greek text. More recent English translations are more accurate by using the terms permit or allow instead of suffer. Chalk this up as more of a language translation issue and not a Jesus contradicting himself issue. But yes the kids are awesome so no problem with giving them the attention and praise they deserve.

So heart warming I have a great nephew who is autistic and I pray that he always has someone who will hold his hand when he needs it. God bless little Christian and Connor and I hope that their friendship lasts a lifetime.

Sometimes little children can accomplish what an adult can't. This precious one saw one who needed a friend and he was there for him. God bless these 2 precious ones.

well, I am crying, haha...this touched my heart so much...i work with adults with intellectual and physical challenges & i've been doing it for a good amount of time...and i've seen that inspite of their 'challenges' they are no different than everybody else walking this earth..they want to connect with another person & be accepted for who they are...not what others WANT them to be...

I have 2 sons with autism. It breaks my heart when I feel as though they’re rejected by the other children. God bless that boy for seeing past his disability and being the friend that he needed. Children are so pure. I hate how adults influence them negatively as they get older

Back in Kindergarden I used to go to the "special needs" class for the afternoon as a "role model" (im pretty sure its just because my parents wouldnt be home till 3 so they couldnt send me home after the AM class finished), and I was always nice to this kid Omar in the class. I stopped seeing him after Kindergarden, but he ended up going to the same high school as me. When he saw me in the halls he would always whisper "Hi [my name]" to me under his breathe just like he did back then, he remembered me this whole time. 🥲
