The greatest era of grime was 2005-2009, this video (aside from the instrumental mixes on top) is from that era. After 2009, I knew grime would never hit the same again. The mc’s that came out of that era were the pinnacle of the history of the scene. The levels were set way too high and I knew no other generation of mc could top it. You had the best mc’s at that time coming out of every sector of London, it was like a grime renaissance.
