Absolutely love these gloves! Amazing wrist support and great fit. Takes a bit to break in but well worth the money imo. Only thing that surprised me was how large they actually are. They are much larger then most boxing gloves.

I got the same exact kind, and I’m so in love with them. Not only do they look sick, but I can hit the bag as hard as I can without hurting my hand. The wrist support in these are crazy. I have more problems with my wrist than I do with my knuckles when it comes to punching hard, and I don’t have to over wrap my wrists and under wrap my knuckles. I can finally wrap my knuckles a little more. And they’re one of the most comfortable gloves I’ve owned. Had them for about two months, and so far, so good. I recommend these to anyone who wants a good pair of gloves. I got them for $169. I’m Canadian, so that’s why the price is a bit up there. But it’s all good, I feel like they’re worth that much.

Speaking of boxing, this week I got Creed for the PSVR. It's Boxing in virtual reality. Not something you could use as a complete training system but it's excellent as a supplemental shadow boxing tool. Half of the game is set in a gym where you train on bags and bobs and they have mini games for speed and accuracy. The other half you're sparring against virtual opponents. It's fantastic. I want a version of this game for martial arts that records your kicks as well.

The thing about these gloves is that two tab Velcro system eventually gives out and comes undone all the time. It’s super distracting during training. And it’s also hard to put on yourself. You can only put them on with your teeth which I don’t do with my other gloves. I can use both hands with one glove on with my other pair.

  • @thelemon72

These are my favorite gloves for the bag. As a big guy (6'0, 275lbs) I tend to hurt my wrists when practicing power shots if my wrist bends during a punch. These can be extra insurance as well as keeping my power shots more comfortable. The compact padding hurts partners more for soft shots but it protects my partner from accidentally making contact with my knuckles during sparring. They are not super quick to put on so they kinda suck for more dynamic training.

I'll just have to try a pair.. They don't have the nice forearm protection my 16oz KING pro boxing gloves do, but they sound great and I love that wrap around mechanics on these Hayabusa gloves. They seem better made to keep the glove from turning when you punch hard.

I have torn 3 rotator cuffs in my right shoulder (one major tear, two minor) wailing on the heavy bag for a couple of years back in 2018. I used to box in my 20s at 175 lb. Being in my late 40's and 230 lb, I finally was able to have real power. I quit hitting for a few months but returned and try not to hit with power now (no right hooks), but I still hit with some power. It is likely I have minor tears in my left shoulder. I don't want to quit hitting (started back 1.5 years ago) so I am trying to find options to absorb as much of the shock as possible. I use 12 oz basic Title gloves. I think moving to 16 oz would offer better protection, as much as I like the smaller gloves. These T3 have very high reviews and very few low reviews so I am considering this glove. I am also getting a nice 150 lb ringside heavy bag which is suppose to be soft on the outside assuming my 2 year follow up MRI on my shoulder goes well in 2 weeks. Do you think these gloves would provide good protection with respect to absorbing shock before it dissipates up my arm to my shoulder compare to most gloves? Is there one you recommend to people nursing rotator cuff tears? Honestly, I just need the equipment to absorb more of the shock before it reaches my shoulder. As I said, I am pulling back on the power but every once in awhile, i have a good day and it is hard to completely restrain myself. Thanks for any advice you can provide. Here is a link to the heavy bag I will likely get early July pending the MRI: www.ringside.com/ringside-soft-filled-leather-heavy-bags130-150-and-200-lbs-2.html PS...Your hooks are amazing! Gel inserts, tight wrist support, damn good color options and the only sign of wear is the logo on one glove wore off. Just for anyone out there looking for a solid but economically friendly option. @@frank.ayala_ they definitely start out on the tighter side especially with wraps but overtime they've molded to my hand and loosened up. They feel great and still look good too, I use them as heavy bag gloves and for pad work mostly.

You should start wearing wraps. Not for support, but to help with the smell. My current pair of gloves smell perfect because I wear wraps every time I wear them and I 've been using them nearly everyday for the last 2.5 years. You can chuck your wraps in the wash, but not your gloves. Also, never share your gloves. Multiple people's sweat makes it a lot worse

@@SenseiSeth Always go from head down to body when wiping/drying. Learned that back in 1990 boot camp and have down ever since. The towel is not made like that material on the thumb which will soak up and become a cesspool of bacteria unlike the towel which will air out and go in the washing machine. But ok if you say so. When I sweat, I use my shirt, never my gloves with other people's sweat on them. Wow
