Kristine Galiher my best advice would be to find a trustworthy jeweller, most retail shops will take on such a repair but send it out. Find a jewellery that has an on site workshop and make sure they are qualified. Best of luck Kristine

Real gold will never lose color. Gold plated only has a microscopic layer that rubs off easily
