Bowl turning with no chuck just a face plate
We had a chat at the about turning bowls etc. without a chuck, I had not tried so I thought I'd have a go, this was it. Not sure if there is a definitive to do it, I guess the purist turnip, sorry turning police will be on the case, but you know me, as Frank said "I'll did it my way"

Glad to see a bowl can be made without a chuck. As a beginner I don't have everything that might be needed. Do thanks for the tutorial. Very helpful.
