Thank you for testing all the different core urethane balls including the NU. I was just imagining this is exactly how each ball would react. I agree that the Hammer Black Urethane is the most controllable for the house shot you are playing. The NU looks good too when playing up 7 to 3-7. Got to stay on the dry boards and you’re all good. Another great video on urethane. Very informative!

I have 3 300s and 2 800s. First 300 and 800 came the same night throwing one handed with the Hot Cell. Last 300 and 800 (2 weeks apart) came throwing two handed with the IQ78U earlier this year. All on house shots. Had a 789 a few years back with the Widow Urethane. Plenty of other big scores and success on sport with them as well. I've owned many. And if you're curious the other 300 was shot using a Spy on a fresh house shot at a tournament - also two handed. Best I could do with reactive was 299/798. And the 299 and last 2+ games was shot with a pretty smooth rolling ball. People dislike when I'm throwing non-reactive, but it just works better for me most of the time.

Out of the widow urethanes the black widow urethane solid is my favorite. I think you might like it as well.

Bought the Pink bubble gum ball thinking it might be an ok alternative for the purple, being the same coverstock. The thing hooks before it touches the lane. Got a purple hammer now that I can't wait to try.

I'm so happy you had a black widow pink. That's my second favorite urathane ball behind the purple. Folks scoff at it until they try mine and they are usually blown away. Discontinued too soon. What weight of purple hammer were you throwing? I have a 16 pound, and I'm told the internal diff is double that of the 15 at .024. I get like 5 to 6 inches of flair, it pretty knarly! Love the video!
