Swamp N Stomp is a channel or vlog, whatever you want to call it, dedicated to helping the hunting community grow, specifically in Florida. Studies show that the majority of modern hunters had family members who raised them as hunters, and a large portion of non-hunters want to hunt but don't know where to start. By documenting our hunting adventures, making instructional or tutorial videos, and really anything-hunting-related videos, we hope to help bridge that gap by providing practical information for beginner and experienced hunters on how to become a better and more ethical hunter. Click that subscribe button and join us for the ride! Thanks for watching!

Super sweet! Congrats on a nice buck. I got super lucky and killed an 8pt on Aog 6 (opening day) too! Hunted 45 minutes and he came right in to 27 yards... he ran less than 20 yards after the shot and went down in sight. So awesome! Congrats again on a great kill man.

That's a great job. On account of your low body exit, blood kept coming out instead of filling up in the chest cavity. So your shot was fine. Angles are never going to always be perfect. It usually comes down to equipment. Yours was enough, and our dry season, helped because that pond would have been 2-3 feet higher in normal years. Smart move locating by the edge of that slough water.

@@jmenor4116 The advantage of a fixed head over the mechanical is on shots comparable to yours. That was a slight 1/4 to you ? Enter just beyond the scapula and exit liver ? If my old eyes saw it right ? Entrance on deer left side ? Looks like you weren’t too far off from a spine ? Great stuff doing a self video. I was drooling actually seeing free standing water. It’s like a desert out @ my lease.
