Greg is the Best self filming camera guy Ever! I don't know how he does it but everything he turns out is just beautiful. Honestly, I don't think that Greg is all about killing something on video, he's more interested in bringing us great footage and if he gets a shot on camera that's just the cherry on top.

Sweet Ole uncle Ted Miller is coming up soon. When you first seen them bucks the first thing I noticed was every fricken red squirrel in the woods was snitching those bucks out and I always thought it was just people they did that to. Great hunt Greg and even better video. Have to include the chickadees in a good hunting video. Be safe out there fellas.

Just a cool thought, but y’all ought to do some sort of fan submission with filmed kill shots. And then the winner y’all pick monthly or however y’all decide to do it wins a small THP package with some shirts and merch. Y’all could even just show a very small clip at the end of a video. I think that would be awesome!

From my experience (45 years of bowhunting), the tricks (such as a grunt or doe call) that you use to get a whitetail buck to stand and look will NOT work the same on a mule deer buck. Nine times out of ten, a muley buck will jump up and immediately bolt. You are better off to NOT alert a muley buck to your presence until AFTER you release your arrow. Whereas an unexpected noise will pique a whitetail's curiosity, it will almost always alarm a mule deer. It would be best to leave your whitetail hunting techniques at home when hunting mule deer. They are totally different animals. The exception to that is that I started using tree stands for mule deer back in the 1970's, and found that mule deer do NOT tend to look up, so they were extremely effective (much more effective than spot and stalk).
