M5. After removing that center bolt and 2 screws I still Couldn’t pull out that arm that’s connected to the pedals. Following day I tried again, this time I used a rubber mallet and hit it from inside out and was able to remove the arm . I tighten the nut and it resolved the squeak, Thank You!

First make sure the (4) allen bolts are tight that attach the upper part to the lower base. Thats all it was with ours. Noise gone.

Just did this to my M5 and it made the creaking worse.

I have the same noise on my New M9 Max, retightened the nuts on both sides and still makes the same sound. I am still searching for the location thats making this sound.

Sorry to hear that. If it's still under warranty, I would complain. Hope you find the culprit 👍👍
