Could not find a bow shop in Central Oregon that could help me with my Hoyt V tec spent lots of money for tuning in local stores did not work at all. Drove to Springfield to the Bow Rack and yes it is a older bow but I love it and they were patient did not quit until it worked 100 % happy this is worth a trip if you want it done right. You have a new customer thanks Guys for everything.

Wayne and his team at The Bowrack are amazing. Wayne personally spent an hour with me last year helping me get my bow dialed in and correcting issues that another pro shop in Seattle had created by installing things incorrectly. They encouraged me to stick around and shoot until i was comfortable with my bow and continually checked in with me despite being incredibly busy. I wish their was a pro shop of their quality in Seattle.

Super! Thanks Chris for the quick reply. Awesome! Over the years, the past 35 that I've been shooting, there's always controversy with string manufacturers and their claims of no stretch whether it be custom or a specific custom string manufacturer who builds strings and harnesses for specific bow manufacturers. My experience has been consistent with any string/harness to set up center/level off the string w/a drop away and shoot 200-300 shots. Then make the tweeks necessary to ensure timing is correct. Then french tune and sight in. I love BRO. I live vicariously through them. Great segment on build and tune!!!

I used to live up the road from there. Wayne got me into a shooting league at his shop when I first was getting into archery. Great guy great shop. I’m back in southern Idaho now and will probably go back to the bow rack for a new bow in the next couple years.

Best place to go. I got my bow from them a couple weeks ago and it was freaking awesome!! All the people there at the bow rack are great people and super knowledgeable!!

I watched Wayne set up another bow This guy is GOOD , he take a great deal of care and feel to the set up I was impressed on the D loop doing the tip up as a ball The bow tech that I use said the same thing A ball will not slip through Get Wayne to do a set up By him self It would be long but REALLY GOOD

I am glad I found your video since I am looking to get into bow hunting and target shooting, now granted I can't afford a high speed bow like a Hoyt(my birthday is tomorrow ;);) ). I am looking at the Bear Archery Cruzer G2 as my beginner Bow, and I am looking at which Pro shop I should go with whether it be the corporate path aka Cabela's, Bow Tech or the Bow Rack. As it is looking at the moment I am thinking Wayne and the Bow Rack would be my best bet. So thank you for posting this video.

Awesome. Very thorough. I would never put my hand or arm in between the bow and string when at full draw. You just never know. Anything can fail. Maybe place your light somewhere else. Also, would of liked to see the setup of that d-loop with the ball and not flattened.

Mathews halon 32, I did have the realm x but after a month of shooting I went back to Mathews just didn't like the way it felt in my hands. What bow shops in Washington have you been to? I'm in pierce county

So, after 200-300 shots which is necessary to set in any string whether custom or on a brand new bow, do you take you bow back to the shop to have it checked for timing and cam lean?

TradTech we like to have all our customers bring their bows back in if possible to recheck everything after strings break in. Most times only minor tweaks are needed if any

We're is this bow rack at? My bow rack in my town act like there all put out of shape if I ask if they can help me adjust my bow for the first time after I just bought 5 bows and all the trimmings for my hole family to get set up . Spent over 6k there and I'm an ass because I want help making sure our bows are adjusted.. ? Makes no sense... I'd be happy to go somewhere that would be completely helpful like that guy was. A fine tuned bow Makes a huge difference in how well you shoot. Were is this bow rack located?

Can someone link that d-loop material, he mentioned it was available from Gas bow strings but I couldn't find any d-loop material for sale on their website.

that material is not for sale for the public. it's for pro shops only. contact your local pro shop and purchase through them.

Nevermind i Seen in comments it’s in Oregon & I’m in NC. I heard SC in this video & I thought well I can go there but I’m not traveling to Oregon. Oregon state is getting way too liberal to get a dime of my money traveling there!!!!! Screw Oregon & Their unconstitutional legislators!!! Unfortunately I live in NJ and honestly cant blame the guy from Nj going out there to buy a new bow. I have been to 4 different bow shops two in nj and two in ny and they all rush you out the door. Between bow, sight and rest I spent close to 2 grand and the shop didn’t paper tune didint do third axis. Been to three other shops and had there “pro” retune the bow and still wasn’t up to par. Each shop bashed the next one on there tune. They get away with doing a shitty tune because they know most eastern hunters are going to shoot max 30 yards from a stand. Bow doesn’t need to be perfect.

On average how much would all off this cost?

Where is that shop Trent? If I get serious, he looks like he knows his stuff!

I wish I had a guy like this working with me and my bow... The Archery guys at the shop I went to (not many options in this area) are less than helpful and patient.

Too bad you are using one of those Spot Hogg sights. There are much better options, such as HHA and Axcel.

I dont get it why guys who have been shooting for quite a while dont "build" or "tune" their own bows. I understand why new shooters go to a pro shop but experienced shooters should know how to set up their own bows. It's not that hard or intimidating.

Didnt see one recurve or long bow. Seems like trad archery is loosing momentum. Shame. Great video though.

@@andrebenoit404 Shouldnt be. Harvest wood. Make a self bow. Heat treat it. Make your arrows. Tune them to your bow. Make some stone points. Then go harvest an animal. The most rewarding feeling is when you feed your family knowing that you did that from scratch. With gods blessing.

Joeyd D you don’t have to go that far. You can go to Pennsylvania or Ohio. Lots of good bow shops here in Ohio
