Bourbon Junkies $30 Tier List! We rank some of our favorite cheap bottles.

Instead of a distillery tier list we decided to do a price range, we didn't grab all the $30 bottles or else the video would be 2 hours long. We did however rank some of our favorites along with community fav's. Lets see where everything shakes out for us!

FYI - Even though Sazerac now owns the ET BIB, Brown Forman is still producing it. It hasn't aged enough to be BIB from Sazerac. So, Brown Forman ET BIB is still being produced. Sazerac ET won't be released until Mid 2024 to meet the 4 year BIB required time. A Brown Forman tanker delivers the bourbon to Sazerac for bottling.

You can even look on the back and see the Brown forman distiller number on both bottles DSP-KY-354 . Maybe there is a little variation at bottling but I still feel its the best value bourbon. Them ranking it so low ruined the video for me. I dare them to blind all those whiskeys. Sazerac et will still destroy more than half the line up. Awesome list! I have not tried the new early times yet, but the old one recently won a blind against some much more expensive bottles! I agree that BT store pics are amazing. Spot on with OGD114. On Early Times, we’ve blinded three different bottles of each ourselves and the new always comes across so much darker and richer. Then we double blinded 15 other folks on new vs old and new won by a landslide with the old coming across sharper, thinner, and more artificial fruity (Taylor SmB was in the same blind and new Early Times destroyed that for 13 of the 15 people as well). It’s gotta be batch variance.
@cjmann765

I dont think the juice in Early Times BiB has changed yet. Its a bottled in bond product so that means min. 4 year age statement. Saz just took over on Brown Foremans inventory less than two years ago. So wouldnt that mean its still original brown foreman juice for at least 2+ more years?
@stuffandwhiskey
Жыл бұрын
@@cjmann765 that’s correct by all accounts, but Early Times is a blend and I doubt Brown Forman is still blending those Early Times barrels for Sazerac.
