A danger zone strip needs to be created to prevent riders from getting so close to the fences. Riders are pushing each other to the fences almost every single sprint.

Indeed, it's an embarrassing and prejudice for the prestigious Tour de France game, if they passed the worst blocking circumstance of Phillipsen and Grmay at the mid spring without a serious penalty.

This year's Tour has been so good, we were bound to have a boring snoozefest of a stage like this one

MVDP always providing a very good leadout

Philippsen squeezing Bini into the barriers at the intermediate sprint, should of been relegated from the final result, then disqualified completely from the Tour Jasper the Disaster strikes again 🙄🙄

I am not a fan of Jasper Philippsen but he did nothing wrong here, he kept going in a straight line. Bad placement of the barriers are to blaim, not Japser.

Don’t let your bias cloud your eyes. Even mentioned in come try - the barriers jutted out into the road, Jasper was perfectly straight.

So, watch this, again, and try to explain to me why Bini was not relegated. Is there any reason for him to suddenly shift right and cut off Ackermann? Phillipsen got relegated last week for the same kind of move. So ...?

@user-jr1fu3ct6d Phillipsen got relegated on Stage 6 for shifting right and cutting off WVA. Bini shifted right today and cut off Pascal Ackermann, who had to pull up, hit Bini, or hit the barrier. Ackermann slowed to avoid an accident. If Phillipsen got relegated in Stage 6, Bini should have today, imo.

I think they we're already to close to the finish Line. Bini didn't take Ackermann the Chance to overtake by shifting to the right, because he simply faster. Risky and unnecessary? Yes, but No need for a Relegation

@Eurosport why show the last bit of the intermediate sprint? Jasper Disaster deviated from the centerline all the way over, looking over his shoulder knowing Binam was charging in.

It was a boring stage… let‘s have more gravel ;) but I‘m sure it‘s good for the riders to have an uneventful stage. Tomorrow will be crazy.
