Berlin Germany had the prototype for a year at different stations and is very pleased. Over 90% of battery only use and the firefighters are excited that more units are now in order.
Super cool, and informational. Glad to see they are looking at this from multiple angles i.e. not only emissions, but work safety and ease of use. Really interested to see the truck once it comes in.
But does it have a frunk?

Costs twice as much as a regular truck. Max run time is 8 hours. Which means you need additional trucks to back it up. Prediction is it will be a garage Queen.
Waste of money
The battery vehicles are just to make the tree huggers happy, making the batteries will do much more harm to the environment.
I guess that when the power goes out - you're all out Luck. Duh - no one thought about that and Now American Fire Departments want to be European and Chinese over there. What happened about American Fire Departments being Different from each other and Different Colors and I guess the next thing is do away with the American Flag on the back of the Equipment too.
