Both the breakers and the rock drill require an inline oiler using rock drill oil to keep them lubricated. You can also just squirt a little oil into the air inlet every few minutes. They are pretty simple to take apart clean and inspect. Anyone who is brave enough to repair a injector governor won't have any problem with this. I love your channel.

@@M.BJOERNSTROEM Yep, North American miners refer to them as a football style oiler (Gardner Denver football). As they are shaped like a football, (think rugby ball, not soccer ball). Also double hose clamps per air fitting, preferably stainless punch locks, and whip checks, as one of the other commenters has posted.

Hello from the states, I work in the power generation field. On a generator with a mechanical governor, the frequency needs to be set to roughly 2.5 to 3 hz above your nominal frequency. Which in your case is 50 hz. The frequency will drop within the nominal range when generator is loaded to 80% or more. Hope this explanation helps. Peace.

A good generator is equipped with an isochronous governor. The isochronous governor controls the rpm, and keeps it steady, no matter what the load on the generator is. Otherwise you will need to adjust the rpm's to maintain the 50 HZ desired depending on the load. Either way you got a great deal on both pieces of equipment.

This was another great video. As an equipment operator, I have to suggest this: If you tie a tagline onto the load you are lifting, you can control the swing or spin of the load from the cab of your tractor by pulling or loosening the tagline, which is normally just a length of nylon ski rope. That would certainly make life easier while lining things up to drop them into place or to keep them from spinning while lifting. Once again, great video!

It looks like you live north of the Arctic Circle, which is much further north than any populated areas in northern Canada. Yellowknife, in the Northwest Territories is 400 km south of the Arctic Circle and most Canadians consider that very far north. Great videos, narration and editing. I expect many of your viewers are surprised to see that your daily driver is a front-wheel drive VW van. Much less snow in the far north than people expect, and good traction when it's packed and not heavily travelled.

Connected to both air filters, above the hood, there should be a "hat" which in fact is a centrifuge to remove heavy dirt. The 2 plastic parts you found in the tool box are the funnels that seeve the heavy dirt into a cup. I guess the filters were overfilled with oil because part of it was rain water. The air filters were open to the elements. Nice video, though, nice to see your work

Dear Mr. Bjoernstroem 👍👌👏 Very well done again (video and work). Congratulations 🎉 for two great purchases. Both are nice big sturdy machines. 2) Please kindly allow me to suggest several things: The tires/rims you put on the air compressor axle are wider than the fenders/mud guards. Therefore dirt/mud/water will spray all over the device. By the way: 2) Usually compressors like this have hinged, slotted side panels. Often they will be opened up when the engine runs. 3) The most important thing: Please consider to redo the air intake openings in the hood/roof. On a machine like yours, this kind of oilbath air filters usually have pre filters (looking a bit like fat mushrooms) above the hood/roof.. The pre filters can easily be taken off. They don't let water or snow into the pot below. Your solution can/will create problems because the air filters suck warm/hot air from the engine and dirty air into the engine/compressor compartment. As always: Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards, luck and health in particular.

Hi I am from The USA love what you did and it look good also good Buy BUT I Agree with @Chr.U.Cas2216‧ the air intake have to be put back to factory with the Correct air filter set up or you will have trouble with it also I think the Hole you have in the center is for inspection of the battery this can be cover with a round cover with a bottom holding bar that you can tie from the top be sure is water seal you can maybe also set up compressor to use regular garage air hose in the time you use a regulator it will be good if you get another tire damage or you on the field and need to do some regular mechanic work with air tools

Not sure if anyone suggested this, but just drill a large hole in your oil drain plug and tap it with whatever size fittings you have, then you can still put your valve on. May still have some residual oil in the pan, but you're going to have that anyways.

Its important to use safety clips or wire to secure your hose connections. This keeps them from coming apart while in use. The tiny hole on the Chicago style couplers is where the clips or wire go.

I believe they are called “Whip-Checks” in English. I was thinking the same thing. During the well drilling video he let those Chicago fitting/hose fly about which gave me actual anxiety

Yeah I used to always use whip checks at work on our compressors feeding air to our drilling rigs, definitely don’t want to be bitch slapped by a wild air line 😂 we have always called those air fittings crows feet didn’t know they where called Chicago style fittings
