Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” has been covered many times by many people. The words get more poignant as we grow older. “Something’s lost but something’s gained in living every day.” That means a lot to me as I learn to live more for myself, every day. It’s a gift. Paradoxically, it’s a gift to my most cherished people, as well.

Enjoyed that Brenda. I can imagine Joni bare footed like you, playing the song in Laurel Canyon to all of her contemporaries in the 60’s, in that area where so many classic songs were written. A Canadian icon 🎸❤️🇨🇦
