Curious how long the battery works for the humanoid boston dynamics robot. Of course, if it's a robot, it can always go back to charge itself. It would be a use-case thing more than anything else. Every 10 or 15 minutes, it heads back to charge , depending on the tasks. If it is longer than that, it would be great.

I love the idea of Robomart, unfortunately here in the USA the taxi would be looted as soon as it left the warehouse.

The last robot cleaning the room. I thought of my grandson with his little cars and legos all over the floor. Good luck.

I did not hear anything about the run time or the charge time of any robots, that's the real kicker here. I think the problem with any robotics is that they spend more time charging or being fixed than doing any work. This all means to me that a robot, as of now spends more time costing money than the time it spends making money. I am an RC Enthusiast and I know how many thousands of dollars you can spend on parts and rebuilds.

No, that was Cyberdine Systems if Im not mistaken... Boston Dynamics will build the Destructor. There was talks about naming it the Crusher or Skull Crusher, but that was found too specific.

There are so many robots coming now, so many smaller companies building similar things, It will not be long before many many jobs are done by these machines. With the vanishing middle class, rising costs of home ownership, rising costs of... everything.... Job displacement is real. We should be seeing prices lowering with all this automation and efficiency gains, but we are not

able to connect to the wifi i bet, no battery cable needed.

That thing can hurt humans if told to, scary thought.

Why don't these humanoid robots have faces? Why don't the makers of the Amica robot give her legs and walking capability? She is an amazing fembot. If they gave her a human flesh-colored face instead of green, and put a wig on her head, she would look more human too. Spot should get a solar panel attached to it's back that's "controllable" by it, by "opening up further" when battery is low and it's sunny. The dog would also move to a sunny area (assuming daytime). extra juice without having to go back inside and charge.
