    I brazilian, and i never saw some non brazilian drummer playng bossa nova so well. When i started to watch the video i thought that you were brazilian. Congratualations.

    Nice lesson John and well taught on a topic that a lot of drummers won't go near due to the independence challenge. I love the Bossa Nova and I am very comfortable with all the variations. The Clave rhythms on the cross stick are so great in feel. I love to use the brush on the snare in a sweeping motion back and forth where the brush does not lift of the snare to give a really smooth flowing feel to it. Thanks again for this lesson. I just love latin.
