Rules Edit: As per a early FAQ (which I clearly missed XD) Concealed models do not provide cover as per the cover rules set out in page 70 of the core rules, as they are not considered within LOS for the operative shooting.

It came down to some key rolls at the end. It took a smattering of bolter fire, but most of the damage was done by the 2 krak grenades and the infrerno pistol. But up until the last grenade was thrown there was a real chance it was going to stomp the rest of the sisters in its third turn.

What you doing here is so top notch, this brings battle reports to another level. Enjoying the hell out of these

Hell of a series! I can see why as a baseline the game doesn't include models of that size - it's so easy to keep them concealed because of the massive bases! That being said it would also make it harder for them to move around densely packed terrain/traversable barricades without taking a hit to their movement

Hahah he'll be back in the latest non narrative game - hes a little salty about it but theres no place for him in narrative....unless, we do a deamon invasion on the ventris system in wake of a tyranid invasion.

I'm watching this again and the writing and voice acting for everyone is so good I'm itching for the next

An absolute nail-biter

Really well written storyline, really digs into the 40K lore and settings. Absolute clutch on that patriarch takedown. Appreciate how he's incapacitated. Maybe some battlescars for next game as it's an absolute unit. Are the rules / campaign details going to be shared in detail at any point?

Yeah I was potentially looking to buff him a little in line with the opposing fire teams, as they'll get upgrades as they gain XP. So will buff his wounds a bit. But they got the DNA sample which Im currently debating but will mean they get a bonus against him in the next encounter - nothing too serious but like ceaseless for all weapons targeting him for a turn. I was doing that in the aftershows but I wasn't sure if i could continue them - i might have to do them a little more loose - as teh editing takes up time. What kind of rules are you wanting to know? i plan on getting a system map together for the ventris system especially now that more external threats have appeared at the far reaches of the system.

yeah im sure I can do that. All of the games so far have had custom rules, in fact the XP grind feels a little too slow for my taste in the official campaign. Currently no models have made it to the 5XP needed to level up - although i;ve not reviewed the last 2 games. That might be a nice bookend for the campaign series a little review of the data sheets - custom missions and rules used etc. thanks for the idea.

Oh thats an interesting idea, It didn't have any extended reach - just went off the large base, I think if it had come up though I would say that it could fight targets that were on like the first floor., just be face to face for it really.
