They are very crit oriented but there's a way to combo with it. I run two sisters fire team with two meltas and a superior with power sword/combi-melta. I combine them with the icon bearer in a sort of squad. Icon of Purity with Emperor's guidance means that you can completely deny a section of the map to your opponents or annihilate pretty much anything in there.

I love that stack. 😂 3 meltas that's insane. Tournaments have shown that I was a little off here, Andrew Kuklis has placed 3rd with sisters consistently so there's definitely more to them than I gave them credit for! I think he normally runs the split list.

Glad to see you back and congrats on almost 1600 subs! About Sister Repentias, have you considered using Arco-flagellants instead? They're much tougher with 10 wounds instead of 7 which would make them last longer and their weapons are also scary, in some way even more as they have 5 attacks. Also I belive a FAQ came out that made it clear that Scions can use orders, it's great that that has been fixed!

Hey, Jan! I actually cut out the arco portion of this video because i went on talking too long. I actually think the way I’m using repentia, arcos would actually be the better choice honestly. I just struggle with the arcos not being able to interact with objectives and stuff like that, I use my sisters to do objective stuff all the time. Have you been running them? And yeah, we were right about Scions! I think they’re still better than people give them credit for, but it’s been fun to see more people running the all Scions list! Thanks for the dope comment! 🙏

Congrats on the 1500 subs! I'm looking forward to some videos about the hobby side. I've never done anything like kitbashing or using green stuff but I want to get into it.

😂 The temptation to overcharge is just too much to handle. In last ed, my brother and I would both take plasma spam imperial guard and overcharge everything always lol. Last man standing wins 😂

My wife runs two squads of sisters to get the heavy and has had moderate success. Love the videos dude congrats on 1.6k!

"I flipped right to it" - Ben 2:59 "The Emperor provides" - Beek Love the commentary on the sisters and they are underpowered I believe. Miracle dice do not work in Kill Team, but they need something else to make them a bit more able to take on the big boys. APL 3 would be nice, but would it then make them overpowered?! Would like to find out. :)

😂 Thanks, Beek! Yeah, you’re right. I’m sure the new bespoke sisters team will have more tools, but I prefer the regular sisters models so that’s kind of a bummer. I feel like if they had even one single decent strat ploy that would help them out 😂 their Tac ploys are pretty cool though.

Great video! And can´wait to see your GK! Did you ever consider two battle sisters fire teams? I´m tempted to sacrifice melee in favor of another gunner plus a Heavy flamer or bolter, and equip the Superior with the plasma pistor for multi-use close range.

I feel this is how to run them. They have the firepower of a space marine team using bolter discipline every turn with 10 models hitting on 3s. Against heavy duty enemies, you have a huge model advantage. Against anything that you don’t have that advantage, your power armor could make it really hard to shift them without special weapons.

Thought those ladies looked familiar, saw em on the GHD discord :D Looking forward to getting in many games with my sisters, they're who I'm building in big 40k.

Thanks, man! I think I’m going to do a homebrew chaos chapter/warband soon. Want to do something kind of like the fallen where they’ve turned on their brothers, but they don’t have mutations or anything like that. I don’t have the details worked out yet lol. Dude, I’m still conflicted on whether I’m going to get it or not. I like the terrain, and it will probably be good for views… not sure yet lol.

Maybe this team has gotten better in Gallowdark/cooridoor fighting? If you take 2 fire teams of sisters, then you can have 2 special weapons and a heavy weapon. Plus whatever your superior takes. In close cooridoors, all those bolters and flamers could really do well, especially because flamers got better in gallowdark. If you take the heavy, the sisters have a strategem to let it move and fire. So you could bring a heavy bolter or flamer, plus two regular flamers plus your plasma one shot, or plasma pistol.

Looking around at some lists, it looks like I can run two teams of Battle Sisters or one squad Battle sisters + one squad repentia is that correct? Seems like I need two boxes of Battle Sisters and one box of Repentia?

Hey you want to add some chaos love and so some kitbashing? Any of the chaos demons are so fun to kitbash. I just customized a killteam of bloodletters, and they have so much more personality than the box standard. It's definitely a little more challenging though!

I always go grenades with Sisters and I play ULTRA aggressive with them (they may die but you have to freak your opponent out with multiple attack fronts). Yes, you will probably lose a few times but playing carefully with them makes sure they get picked off. My only problem with them is a lack of fire, ie. to burn stuff...Sisters LOVE to burn stuff 👍😁

You definitely have to play aggressive with them! Anybody I’ve ever played always has someone on a vantage point, so even concealed isn’t always a safe bet. I’m still testing grenades and scourging barbs out, I like them both!

Tried them on my very first game. Made a ton of mistakes in the base game rules and lost but we had fun. The sister with the inferno pistol does well but I've had Repentia get eaten up by wyches and be very even to a little lower vs a solo Space Marine. Hopefully the Acolytes will fair better.

I don't think I've heard/seen anyone run the inferno pistol due to the 3"range, but yeah that AP2 is nuts. Now that I'm thinking about it, shooting someone 3" away is safer than getting into melee combat lol. Yes, I'm hopeful for the new sisters. They look like a heavy melee focused team which is interesting.

Just happened to me in a necromunda game. Nailed a charge across the board and whiffed hard. Then the reaction attack took my melee guy out... then all my shooting whiffed. I was rolling trash that game.

People who come in and think Kill Team 2021 is simply 40k Lite will realize they are mistaken once they play a game. It's a whole new game to learn and master. The funniest thing is when I was playing Sisters vs Tau. We misinterpreted that operatives under Conceal could not be targeted, which is not true....it requires that you be behind obscuring cover. I realized that this misinterpretation would make my Repentia an "I win" button. Not being able to shoot them as they close in on you just screamed "This is wrong!"

😂 I love the mental picture of that. Repentia screaming at those poor fish boys is something I’d love to see. Repentia are super fun! You’re definitely right, it’s very much it’s own game and I think it’s better for it.
