This was difficult to learn on the accordion. I first tried it out almost two years ago, balked at the intro, and decided to come back to it later. Recently I’ve been doing some technical work that’s helped me to approach this song more effectively, and it’s still a beast. But I remember this tune making a huge impression on me the first time through Chrono Trigger, at how overtly it was connected to progressive rock, and how intense of a feeling it gave to the first boss fight, and I couldn’t wait to make a version of my own.
