    Excellent products. The guy was good. Interested to hear comment that a warm room will give more feedback though. I've always thought that a fuller room i.e. more people will assist in killing feedback but the temperature wasn't something I'd considered. Any more info on this?

    Our band has a T8S. I'm unclear as to your description in 'Reverb' at time counter 8:25. Are you saying that if I use a 'Global Setting', I should not use any individual reverb settings? Thanks.

  • @AthelstanEngland

    @AthelstanEngland

    The reverb type is global. Then for each channel you can say how much reverb (mix) and how bright it appears, but not the type or decay which is global.

    Are these mixers only intended for use with Bose speakers? It’s unclear from this video whether they can be used with non-Bose set ups. Although the brief demo of the SM58 was useful it would have been helpful to hear how the mixer handles guitars as other instruments.

    I contacted Bose, they need need to add eq adjustments to the USB player. Even a High & Low adjustment would be great. I don’t know if this will be addressed with a firmware update. That may not be possible. Channels 5 & 6 should also have that ability. I purchased this specifically for the compact high quality mixer with the USB player for wav files. This saves a lot of room. My Bose 80-III’s are enough to hall around.

    Can anyone help. I have an L1 PRO 8. When I do loud vocals it peaks the system into red even when the speaker itself is on 10 o'clock. I have tired direct in using a wireless Shure Beta 58a (I think is the mic I have) and I have put it through an analogue music desk. Either way the system can't really handle my vocal even under 50% volume. Is there a way to change this with my chain, can a tone match help this in anyway? I have been thinking my issue might be because I am using a non-bose mixer. As my last resort I am looking at a tone match or any other suggestions. Otherwise I think I need to 16 (but it's too heavy for me). Advice welcomed.

  • @MadonnabyKnight

    @MadonnabyKnight

    This is more likely to be that you are using the wrong input or wrong type of lead. I had this issue which caused 'ducking' in the sound. You must use input 3 with a TRS lead. You may have worked this out already, if not I hope this helps.

    Can I use the T1 tonematch with the Bose S1 ? as we have both the L1 and the S1.

  • @ericstalker2630

    @ericstalker2630

    2 жыл бұрын

    You can! You could connect the S1 via the T1 master output and use it as another speaker for whatever is playing through the T1. You can also use the S1's line out and go into the L1 power stands analog input. This gets you two "extra" channels into the L1 although you are limited to the settings on the S1 itself for those channels. Or If you have an external T1 power supply you could use the master line out into a flat channel on the S1 and treat it like any other speaker, daisy chain two of them together if it pleased you.

    @@jevescio depends on the microphone used and the singer. Start with no effects and select the correct mic and work from that. Often need to roll off a little low on zEQ (unless it's desired), then a noise gate (I set about -40dB) so you don't get rubbish when not singing, a little reverb start around 35% bit more for backing singers (which puts it further back in the mix) and then if odd feedback use the Para Eq to notch it out.

    Comprehensive demo, but as per usual, just too much. I'm a solo lead singer. Multi strumentalist violin, saxophones flute keyboard using backing tracks recently got Bose L1 pro8. Knowledge of PA ok as an experiences performer only. How do I connect this mixer? For example, how do I mute the L1 's reverb as its not good, and use the mixers? These are the things I need. OK SM58 tweaking seems effective etc. Is there a specific stand or basic mic stand fitting available? So this demo should be focus to people like me...cut down on the gizmos

    "Just buy one"?? yeaaaa..sure...4 channel-$700 dollars. 8 channel-$1000 dollars. I search thru You Tube videos hoping to gain insight into a product-not watch a video and try and wait for the correct information I need to know before I make a purchase. I could just leave a question/comment in the hopes that the channel creator actually answers questions, but that is just as risky as purchasing the unit. Never understood why people create a channel, create a video, post the video and then never answer any questions about the video.
