Hi, have tried this video but still wondering. Have changed the door lock with a new one. Problem is that the mavhine beeps 3 times when i start it and the lock symbol blinks. It is the symbol you have over the P i have issues with. It is not there when i do the reset

@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 Do you know what would cause a Bosch Serie 6 to struggle to get to full spin? It seems like it constantly struggles to rebalance the load and extends the wash time. Running test cycle 02 in this video worked fine and it does reach full spin easily without load.

Hi I have the same washing machine as in your video. My problem is that when I start a wash it keeps increasing the time. It would start fo example 1hr 31min then later it would should say 45min when it should be around d 20min. Then when it gets to 18min and I check a few minutes later it has jumped again to 30min. So even a a quick wash lasts much more longer than the initial time given. It didn't do this before.

@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 yes all functions and settings working. It just seems to keep adding Time. So a wash seems to take nearly 2hrs when it's supposed to be around 1.3hrs.

I have found that sometimes if the load is too big the time can increase as the machine realises the clothes are not as dry as they should be after spinning so it will increase the time. Try a wash completely on empty and watch the time. See does the time increase on an empty Wash. If it doesn’t you know you have too much clothes in the wash, if it does it may be a faulty pcb. Worth trying the clothes option first though.

Hello. I hope you got the help you needed but in case you didn't, I can explain the time increase. See when your machines door is open and you select a program, the screen shows you the time and the weight recommended for that program. For example quick wash 30 only takes 3.5kgs in an 8kg machine. This means that it will take you 30mins to wash a 3.5kg load on that program. If you put clothes more than 3.5kgs the machine will detect that and increase the washing time. Always check the weight recommendation before loading your laundry or just use cotton like I do and fill the drum coz it takes a full load

Hi Paul. Sometimes it takes 7 or 8 tries for it to work. I must have done 6 or 6 videos before it worked for me. All I can say is keep trying and hopefully it will eventually work for you.

Hey! When you press the Spin / Rpm Button does it show 1200,or 1400 Spin ? If you just try it on just a Spin cycle does it get up to full speed ?

Hi, I have a washing machine very like this one and it just stopped working today but there's no error on it...just 3 symbols speed symbol, a leaf with e in the middle and a line above the aqua plus. I actually looked at that video yesterday and tried it but nothing is happening...I switched it off and retried a few times and plugged it out for a few hours and tried but just the same 3 lights coming on...its like the screen part is frozen or maybe broken? Thanks for your reply!

I used the emergency procedure to unlock the door and now the door wint lock for the machine to start a cycle.I've done the reset as well, but the lock door symbol is still there.

The fact that you had to use the emergency procedure to open the door and now it’s not locking when you try a new cycle sounds like it may be the door lock itself is the issue. Please have this verified first by an engineer

So I assume the motherboard/control unit (name?) on ours is bust but when we turn the dial to a program, temperature and times don’t pop up and buttons are non responsive. Can’t seem to do the reset/test you show as a result. Do we just need a new machine?

Hello, I have a "strange" error with my Bosch series 6 Vario Perfect and that is: the machine does not start as it was designed. We have a toddler and he pressed a combination of buttons or rotated the dial (we assume) so that now we can start the machine by choosing the desired program BUT we have to press the "Water plus button" in order for it to start (and not the start/pause button). I need to mention also that the "Water plus button" can pause the washing cycle, the RPM button and Speed perfect do not work, the rest seem to be working. What is wrong? How can I fix this? Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the video. I have the same machine. It's been playing up for some time where you select a program, the door clicks several times, drum moves slightly, then nothing! After several goes it would work, but now it won't do anything. I have tried putting into test mode, which it won't do either, but I am getting error code E61. Could you tell me what this code might be? I have suspected a fautly switch, but had an engineer out to look and he tried a new switch to no avail, he said it could be a faulty main control board but he didn't sound sure, he certainly didn't put in test mode! Any how it's been working for sometime with this issue until now, so could it really be a faulty control board? Any help appreciated.

Hey Steve. Sorry to hear you are in trouble with your machine. I have had the exact same thing happen a lady who lives relatively close to me. I tried another lock and it made no difference. Turned out to be the PCB. I wonder by chance if you are still under warranty by Bosch….. ?As a side note here is a bit of info I found regarding the error. The E61 error code indicates a door fault. It could be as simple as the door not being closed properly or as severe as a control board fault. Start by checking the latch and catch on the door followed by opening and closing the door to see if the machine restarts - Sorry I can not be of more help unfortunately

Thanks for the reply. After lots of door rattling I got the machine to start, so I have ordered a new door lock and hoping it's not the main board! Unfortunately it's long out of warranty. The engineer did try a new lock, but it was in an opened packet, so possible it was a faulty one? Anyway I will buy a new one and try.

Hello, I do not get any error messages when I perform this operation on the machine. However, the water in the machine is cold, and during the "cotton" program, the machine starts and continues its cycle but gets stuck on one minute and keeps running non-stop until I turn it off. The clothes are neither rinsed nor spun, so I have to run a quick 30' program to rinse and spin. Do you have any idea?

It sounds like it possibly a heating element issue. If you do just a rinse programme does it finish the cycle ?

@@othmanemansouri No worries. My Manual is saying it is problem with the solenoid (flow switch) It is worth changing it and seeing does it solve the issue although it could also be an issue with the PCB should changing the solenoid not help

Thanks for the helpful video. I’m having issues when in dryer mode. About ten minutes into cycle The dryer doesn’t heat up unless you reset the Green thermostat button under the top section. Any ideas? Had an engineer look at it and he asked if an error code appears. No errors I just have to reset this button then it heats.

Hey Fergy. No worries man. Is it possible there is a built up of fluff somewhere in there and the thermostat keeps kicking in and going off as a safety mechanism. Can you take off all pipes/vents particularly the one going to the door seal from the large heater under the lid

Your English is very good! It is telling me it is an unbalanced load. If you run the Machine on the same program (empty -No clothes) does the same error appear ?

@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 I put it in spin mode only and the drum does not rotate, I investigated the power plate (ipm) a little and measured with a multimeter in the diode position between the positive pin and U there is a short, between positive and V a drop of 0.467 and between positive and W 0.467. so I think it's the IPM

Sir screen shows all together all the symbols and I can't start the machine it got struck k completely

Esto me parece un problema de PCB. Por muy loco que parezca, ¿puedes secar la placa frontal y la PCB principal con un secador de pelo durante aproximadamente 10 minutos cada uno? A veces la humedad puede causar este problema. Si esto no ayuda, le sugiero que consulte con el fabricante si todavía está en garantía. (Asegúrate de desconectar el aparato antes de intentar lo anterior)... Avísame si tienes suerte 👍

E35-10 indicates water has leaked in the base of appliance and not related to door switch fault. Please try this: Unplug the appliance and remove the drain pump filter. Then use some beach towels and tip the appliance 45 degrees backwards so excess water drains off completely. Also check and make sure drain hose is not clogged. This should solve the issue, please let me know how it goes.

Can't see how to reset after errorcode.

Hey Leanne. It is possible you have a blockage further up the Machine and not just behind the filter. Sometimes things can get stuck in the sump hose or even the drain hose. Resetting the pcb really wouldn’t help on this occasion. I am wondering is there a possibility you are still in Warranty 🤔
