Thank you, very helpful. I wish they made one with the height of the 250, but a lighter construction similar to the 150.. It's really hard to find any tripods taller than 72" (most don't even go that high), especially one that isn't super heavy or crazy expensive. There are the pole systems, some which include a tripod, but those are very bulky and tedious to set up. That said the 250 seems like the best I've found yet. I'm a handyman and I work out of a backpack, so I need something I can carry, and avoid carrying even my light tripod unless I really need it.. Too bad no one makes a vertically tilting but self-leveling laser that I can just set on a table, usually it's just the horizontal line I need.

@5:35 The hook is used to put weight on it for more stability. My camera tripod has a similar hook for this purpose. @9:32 The leveler on top of the tripod is used for levleing if the head unit is unmounted

on the 250 can the legs be moved closer together for tight spaces.
