Have planer, jigsaw, and circ saw, and saws all. Love em. Don’t have router yetRecommend higher AH batteries. Solid kit.

I also love how you can keep inventory of your tools on the Bosch app.

I just bought the Planer, Batt/charger starter pack and a 6Amh battery all for just under $300. I needed the mini planer for various projects so it looks like it will come in handy! The thing that worries me the most is BOSCH 12 volt system looks like it lacks support. Especially when compared to Milwaukee! The charger is weak, meaning it's slow some of the other tools aren't brushless! I do like the trim router so I will be picking that up at some point but that's about it. Anything else 12 volt will more than likely be Milwaukee as their support in the U.S. is much more present which is a bummer. I like to have all the tools the same brand just because of the compatibility factor.

I can't argue with you there, Milwaukee definitely has a larger selection. You'll see more bosch stuff coming, and all brushless. I'm kind of disappointed with the new charger as well. Fortunately I have a couple of the older ones, which I like more. Enjoy the planer.

@@tooltipswithtommy Just an FYI! I spoke with a Milwaukee rep this morning at a H.D. and she said all of their new tools come out just before Christmas which I didn't know. I asked if she knew if they would have a mini planer like the one Bosch has, she didn't know. I will most likely wait to see what Bosch comes out with but for now the Milwaukee M12 line is hard to beat. Thanks for the review on the planner it helped in making my decision on buying it!

Not sure that "brushless" matters in all cases. Brushless only means that the motor is electronically commutated, instead of having a mechanical commutator. This mainly allows precise speed and torque control. However, a motor is run at a certain speed with a certain torque output, there is no advantage having an ECM motor. At lower speed settings, ECM motors have an edge over puls controlled (PCM) motor controls that also impacts torque. However, and an ECM motor controller is just another thing that can break. In contrast, brushes last a long time and are cheap and easy to replace.

I’m a professional carpenter/joiner and I have these. I have to say that they are good little tools but they’re nothing compared to the 18 volt bi turbo tools(which I also have). These are good for light work but don’t expect greatness from them.

Agreed, good for trim work, and laminate jobs.

TIMMY. Safety first. No glasses while using that trimmer!!😮 AND handling all those tools;adjusting, showing features etc, then starting them with your hand near the business end..😮. Otherwise very informative video. Best on KZread. Thanks 🙏🙏

When I ordered it, I didn't think they would ship it. Amazon said they couldn't ship to North America.

@@tooltipswithtommy i jist ordered both the 12v and 18v Sander with l boxx, the jig saw with l box and all accessories and also the gks12v circular saw with rip guide, dust collector and lboxx. took 2 weeks i paid $60 in shipping total. all came on Tuesday via DHL.... like i said. i rarely buy bosch tools in the usa, because they dont come with any of the accessories and most of the accessories can not be bought over here in the usa. never had a problem. i also live in SoCal, so maybe thats different.

do you know if the planer extration hose is compatible with the festool 27-32 native hose ?

I don't know, I'm sorry. It does snap on to the bosch, and it has a universal mount inside that. I don't own a festool vacuum though. I can probably post some pics of just the vacuum adapter if that will help?

i agree the jigsaw is under powered, and the 1/2 inch stroke doesn't help. the best part about it, is the barrel grip.
