This was obviously more a time constraint issue not budget. The rest of the episode was fine up until the last few minutes. Weekly shows are a hassle to animate.

@@lightway2809 It had bad frames and questionable animation too... it's just that it was more spread out, not mostly limited to mere fillers.

2:12 first thing I thought of is they're moving like south park characters 😭😭😭 Ofc i'm no expert on animation but whoever is in charge of deciding what scenes get more budget and what scenes get less needs to think twice about their priorities. 2 eps ago the shiny eyes looked nice and the start of this fight looked decent but then you can tell where it changes, imo they should spread the budget more evenly and prioritise what needs animating but also what doesn't need to be over-animated. The glowy eyes were a nice touch but if that took away money and time available from this, then thats a problem 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's more of a scheduling issue, the animators have time to set the groundwork for the fight animations but they simply don't have enough time to correct it

Definitely time constraints, it's always near the end of episodes things get weird. Animating for weekly shows is a nightmare.

The fistfight of Boruto and Kawaki seemed promising at first with nice choreography, but then you could notice missing in-between key animation and some shots being held to fill-in.... 1:42 Kawaki holding Boruto's jacket looked off, and then I burst out laughing at 2:09 how first Kawaki and then more prominently stills of Mitsuki, Sarada and Naruto were slowly bobbing up and down with dramatic music.. 😂😂😂 they tried to hide the more brutal, grunting parts of the fight again with cloud shot and panning across Mitsuki, Sarada and Naruto spectating 😂

Their way of 'talk' it out...🤣🤣

I can see the budget for this arc went into Boruto’s eyes from the last episode.
