Naruto has SO much more chakra inside of him to expel, PER rasengan so it just looks deeper blue and is bigger. Plus, Boruto was using wind style Rasengan and naruto used wind style Rasen-Shuriken 👀👍🏽

Using less hand signs is a benefit all around for every version of the story. Less hand signs means less drawings, less animation, and shows that they’re skilled. Just look at the difference in the amount of signs from Kakashi vs Zabuza’s water dragon jutsu to Naruto vs Sasuke’s final valley fight.
