Today we will be having a walking tour around Borough Market. , Borough Market - the LARGEST & OLDEST Food Market in London .lets roam around, in London's best food market - Borough Market on a delicious street food tour . It is well known as a good quality food market and there are many stalls selling different varieties of foods such as cheeses, fresh fruit and veg.It is one of the largest and oldest food markets in London, with a market on the site dating back to at least the 12th century. The present buildings were built in the 1850s, and today the market mainly sells speciality foods to the general public.

What a lovely market! It's not like Birmingham's. Birmingham market was great up until 8-9 years ago. The old stall holders began to close down one by one and each time it was of course taken over by new stall holders took over and the place has gone right down - less people shop their now - it is like a ghost market (meat and fish). The fruit and veg market is rough now - old holders closed down - new moved in and it not the same too.
