I've found, amusingly enough, one can easily use the Boros to destroy the Boros. Lightning Helix, Warleader's Call into Archangel of Wrath eats aggro alive.

Totally. To be perfectly honest, his videos wouldn't be nearly as compelling without the contextual framing. He does it well.

Great discipline on that last game, I have been waiting for Golgari Midrange to be good again!!!!

With esper, I just find waiting for the right time to stop what ever they are doing wins everytime. I’ve seen 3 different types of this deck. One with more planes walkers.

Assassin's Trophy, much like Field of Ruin/ Demolition Field is a good choice for basic land checking opponents. You'd be surprised how many don't run any.

@@Asiis I mean, that's the heuristic. It doesn't really work in Bo1 because midrange decks really depend on their sideboards to tune their threats and answers to the matchup.

Golgari has been the most consistent archetype since Glissa and Sheoldred came out. The meta keeps changing and yet the literal same Golgari deck without changes has been my strongest build. 71.2% after 183 matches is so obnoxious. I am an aggro red centric lover but nothing comes close to Golgari midrange. I wish k could build a deck that worked based around Death Strike (1st strike+deathtouch)
