You can definitely add more ramp with Mightstone and Weakstone alongside Portal instead of focusing on the creatures.

FINALLY you showcased this monster of a deck! I immediately came up with the build after the release of Nahiri's Resolve but in my case I added blue to the build to fit Jin Gitaxias in and make the praetors almost untouchable :D

all the varieties of 1/1 drawacard for 2 are so close to broken, it takes very little extrinsic benefit to break them. pretty wild.

Game 3 i can relate, im also trying to make simic (ramp) somewhat viable in standard, but i think its not possible, the other colors just have better cards. Nice video as always :)

Resolve is so cool. I added it to reanimator deck with etali Atraxa Titan. JUICY!

i think a really good mono blue is maybe one of the top three hardest decks to beat. But this deck seems legitimatley good. I like it even more than CGB's version because of the banned card consideration and the overall selection and build. very well done.

It's an option for sure, although it requires you to have good 2-drops that you can flicker to curve out properly. So it can be a little more conditional than other 3-drops.

Definitely considered adding green for it, but Etali is too much fun!

What about Touch the Spirit Realm as an additional flicker / exile effect in place of an Eiganjo or Etali?

If you flicker the back side of Restoration does it come back as the creature or the saga? I thought it would come back as the saga, but you never did it so I'm not positive.

No point playing ranked before the upcoming ban announcement. More likely to see decks that reflect the future meta in the regular queue.

So many people and decks in bo1 are just so hyper aggressive. I feel like these players don't know when to not attack

This deck, sadly , is way to slow. Before you can do anything, youre dead. And the decks I played against all have been jank decks. So i would not craft this
