i cant imagine someone saying negative or hateful to u. UR AMAZING!!! when i see someone like u, it helps me to stay positive even when everything is going wrong. keep doing what you are doing. ur an inspiration to everyone!

For the past year I have really been struggling mentally and emotionally after my vision was permanently damaged by botched Lasik surgery. Watching this inspires me to try and focus on what I can still do that I enjoy rather than dwell on what I can no longer do. Thank you Kanya for sharing your can-do attitude!

Beatriz22 what is wrong with you i am a 13 year old girl and my 3 year old brother has down sindrome and he can't walk , talk or even crawl and he is the best thing that ever happened to me , people don't know how hard life is with someone who has a disability but it is also one of the most rewarding things . so before you go saying stupid and foolish things actually think about what you say and the effect it has on people because you might have a child with a disability one day and you know what this is going to come back one day and bite you in your backside . GET A LIFE 😡

Wow! I’m amazed. She was dumped on the side of the road, has no legs and is still so confident and positive. Talk about resiliency! Amazing.

her mom won mother of the century and Kanya's attitude towards life and herself is absolutely beautiful.

Adopted mom is an amazing person and so is this young lady

She is gorgeous! I'm glad she was adopted by a good woman. This is such a good story.

My 4 year old granddaughter was absolutely amazing watching this video, I show her videos like this because I don't want her to ever forget how lucky she is and to always be considered thoughtful and respectful as she travels her road of life. Bella asked me "nanny this lady is beautiful look at her beautiful eyes nanny!! Then she added nanny I'd give this lady 1 of my legs when I'm all grown up. Let's hope my granddaughter will continue to be a thoughtful considered and selfless girl bless her.

I am serious i dont even notice her disability. She seems to have more abilities than non-disabled people i know. Shes gorgeous, strong and really inspiring. I cant see anything holding this woman back!

@@guineapigtalks Not that I ever have, or would, say that to anyone, but I am grateful to you for explaining how patronising that could be. My colleague has never been able to see. She lives a fuller life than probably anyone I've ever known, but i frequently witness people saying stupid, patronising things to her. This seems to bother me more than her! The RNIB's slogan is "See differently". The possibilities then are limitless for us all. Thanks again.

Same. I didn’t see her as a disabled person at all. She is way more able to do lot of things by herself than others who got two legs and two hands.

I 100% agree. Living your life to the fullest regardless of your condition is the BEST REVENGE. Who cares what other people think. You do you and just be happy.

As I sit here watching this young women, it makes me think about my kids and their disabilities and I worry so much about them. I worry how will they go on with their lives without my help but watching this young women and how confident and independent she is make me less anxious and less worried about my kids. As they live their lives my kids will adapt and endure and figure life out just like the young women did. You are inspiring and amazing.
