Holy shit i never noticed that. I kinda wonder if theres a connection between them and the oracle envoys, something ive always suspected but could never find evidence of but that might be the connection i needed. And yeah rennala used her moon powers to rise to the top and as we saw with sellen and some of the other founders who rebelled the first time that sorcerers were not to happy to have the concept of nobility forced upon them. And like you said its why they were quick to to turn on her when she was at her weakest when radagon left

@@TheHonoredMadman Thanks! The Oracle Envoys, in my opinion, seem to be the " official" or " authorised" version of what Mimic Tears and Albinaurics. They may be created from the same material, but whoever made them was unlikely to be human; to this day, the former priests of the Ancient Dynasty chase after and mimic their bubbles. Silver itself as a force isn't necessarily opposed to gold so much as having a place beneath it. D's armour displays this perfectly. There is a reason that Liurnia was only place to recieve the privilege of negotiations and eventual peaceful coexistence with the Golden Order. The Nox themselves are accused of " treachery" against the Greater Will; in other words, their people once had a covenant with it that has since soured completely with their rebellion and slaying of it's messengers. The Nox's work in and of itself seems to be concentrated on attempts at imitating divine power; creating and strengthening a Lord, for instance. The Fingerslayer Blade also resembles the Sacred Relic Sword, albeit more...grotesque. This, I believe, could also be true of their work in creating life out of metals. The Greater Will, or one of it's vassals, may have been the pioneer of this discipline, in the same way the Elden Beast could turn Marika/ Radagon ( and theoretically, any vessel of the Elden Ring) into the Sacred Relic Sword, a superior version of the Fingerslayer. The Envoys announce, and have announced, the dawns of countless ages, and will likely be there to announce countless more.

@@alyseleem2692 The first generation albunarics in cocoons are awaiting rebirth in the Haligtree , they are cocooned next to dew collection wells similar to those of the Erdtree, it was promised to them that when miquella completed the process of embedding himself in a tree and becoming a Lord they will be reborn as true beings, we know now from the DLC that Miquella failed to become a Lord through embedding himself in a Tree, thus abandoning it and everyone in it and pursued another avenue through Radahan and the Divinity Gate.

Loretta is fascinating to me because in vers 1.00 her helmet states that she was gifted to Miquella by his father, Radagon, since he was the scion of the Vision. What was that "Vision"? The Haligtree, probably. Of course, in 1.00 Malenia is deemed the Red Queen and the Arbitress, so I doubt she was Miquella's twin in that draft of the story. Radahn was also called the God of War.

Loved this. Thought it was going to be a rehash. Turned out to be thought-provoking on a number of interesting topics. The Nox, Albinurics, Carians and gloam-eyed queen - what do they have in common? Nokastella is a mortuary city, full of coffins, sarcophagi and funerary accessories. If the Gloam-Eyed Queen, the goddess of death before the imposition of the golden order’s monotheism, was based anywhere, it was there. We’re told Rennala isn’t a demigod but we’re also told Godfrey was the first elden lord. Is it possible Rennala is the demigod daughter of the gloam-eyed queen? If she’s just human, why hasn’t she aged like the wandering aristocrats? Also, Rennala is linked to the Heretical Rise in the Mountaintop Of The Giants, which is directly above spiritcaller cave, where the godskin swaddling cloth is placed. Anyway, time for my own outro. Mohg appears to rise from a pool of Miquellas blood before the boss fight. When Miquella used his own blood to water his Haligtree to make it grow, Mohg could've used that as an oppurtunity to get close enough to abduct him. These and the DS2 videos are great BTW

I like your take on the guys one the bridge better than mine. Old guy talks about how people lose their minds, I think?, to justify them attacking when he doesn't. Also, never noticed the disappearing legs on the hanged albinaurics before. Guess that was usually in horse country, or defend from attackers country. I don't like Seluvis but Ofnir's a real piece of work, too The hooded guys remind me of wormfaces a little bit, but there are plenty of differences between them too I guess. Absolutely agree about ending Latenna's quest, given her sacrifice. Should be able to do it at any point for an item, maybe, as a sort tradeoff. Hold out hope that maybe there's something else to it later but she manages to fulfill her goal and maintain her people, not something you hear about often in Souls games! What's the music you used for this btw, I liked it.

A small but maybe an insignificant observation. The skeletons that are summoned shoot through their left eye. Melina and Messmer has theirs closed just as Marika misses hers. The spirit that's latched on to Ranni's doll has its left eye closed aswell. Could be tied to death in some way? Getting all mangekyu sharingan vibes where the left eye unleashes amaterasu (death) and the right one controls it (order).

Nobody is asking the question of what silver is or where it came from. Its unlikely that the black vegetation and the molten shrooms are the result of a mimic tear experiment, but most likely the remnant of a phenomena that happened. Maybe the same phenomena that created all "somber" stones. This event could be the destruction of the dark moon, possibly leading to a devastation of the nox, which would finally explain the molten bodies down in the eternal cities. There is no proof that Astal was sent by the greater Will to destroy the eternal city, but the banishment of the nox and the destruction of their home by Astal are definitely linked. However, this would be the first and only instance where the greater will does something in the physical world, besides sending the golden meteor, so my guess is that Astal was a consequence of a failed experiment to ward of the greater will, so the greater will banished the nox underground in the sense that they are not allowed to resurface and bathe in the light of the erdtree. Miquella is not answering to Mogh so i have a huge issue with the idea of Mogh spreading his influence via dreams. He is actively trying to cooperate with Miquella but Miquella is unresponsive.

This is a great write up and i agree when i made this i had forgotten that leyndell had similar golden vegetation in some spots so yeah i dont think the silver plants are necessarily an experiment they could just be from a time where the nox andd silver as whole was held in a higher regard and have been buried just like the uhl ruins and the eternal cities

I feel like there has to be a golden tear or golden mimic alternative since the nox in opposition were desperate to try to create their own version Ps, if you’re interested in some connections or influence that ancient mythologies had on the story you should check out the poems from the Sumerian religion. Mainly the poems about Inanna(Ishtar) the queen of heaven, and her being an influence behind marika. More specifically the poems of her huluppu tree, charge of the dark goddess, inanna and the god of wisdom, and inannas descent into the underworld

I was under the impression that the ladies were G3, but I guess with this kind of stuff there’s plenty of room for multiple interpretations.

Bro is definitely not eating crow on that Fallout show. Its a wee bit smaller scale than I thought but wow is it better than I ever expected was possible. Its not perfect but I really think a season 2 with more money could honestly skyrocket it to GoT level popularity.

I think the Rennala is the Albinauric Lord the Nox were trying to make. Her skin is silvery, she birthed an Empyrean, she births her sweetings through artificial means, the Albinaurics were in equal standing in Raya under her rule, and her legs no longer work.

BTW, Pidia is not Seluvis's apprentice, he's Seluvis's puppeteer note that when Seluvis "dies" he's posed like an inert puppet that's why Pidia's has the map to the Amber starlight shard and why its him who has Nephi's puppet no Seluvis. That also might explain why Seluvis/Pidia betrayed Ranni, being a secret Albanauric in the service of the Carians much like Lorreta once was it seems possible if not likely he may too have shifted his allegiance to Miquella I mean you do find that Amber starlight shard underneath a Statue of Miquella and Melania...

I kinda feel ''Filia'' is a callback to ''Filianore'' in DS3. Also her posture, her attitude. Very similar. The fact that you have to give her back her ''soul'' also.

Lorreta is a beast, if shes the sniper, you can set her up in a corner away from a boss and distract it with long or medium ramged attacks, while she does steady dps. Doing this helps learn what certain bosses do at certain ranges, but you need to keep the boss aggro to keep it from the sniper princess. I like to wait till the boss turns around to get a free attack/regain aggro

This is a theory im fond of, i mentioned it once randomly in an unrelated video and could never find much evidence, but someone in the comments pointed out to me that the coccoons in haligtree have first gen albs in them and i started to think well, maybe thays the missing link. Maybe the old first gens "die" and a coccoon forms around them and after time they emerge as envoys. I think its a great theory, ill probably do a little video about it

I like the subtle lore of Temple Quarter about the second generation Albinaurics giving a funeral to the fallen archer due to her being split from LAtenna by Ensha. It's a sad story people barely talk about but the clues are there.

I'm really interested in what's up with Filia. She's taking over for the previous mother I'd guess given the emphasis on 'young yet towering'. Does that make the birthing droplet something that's passed down between albinauric mothers? Also I've always been curious to see sort of a silver family tree, if you will. Like how closely related are the silver tears to albinaurics? And of course, the looming possibility that many in game characters are albinaurics themselves.

I never knew the albinauric archers had homing arrows 😢, also mogh could have flown to the haligtree from castle sol since he does have wings , completely bypassed the evergoal

I'm thinking Loretta was whom Female Albinaurics were modeled after. She doesn't bleed silver and her shield says her being an Albinauric was an absurd rumor. But the similarities are clear as day from her and the Albinaurics all favoring mounted bow combat to being female. Id imagine she was the template for females Nobles/ noble sorcerer's were templates for 1rst generation Albinauric men hence the magic casting and also useless flailing And the 2nd Gen frog boys I'm assuming may have been made after demi humans given their weapon choices and social behavior

I dont think the crows and dogs are infected with the blod, I believe they are ment to be infested by the flies that are spoken of in some of the descriptions

@TheHonoredMadman it may even be that the simple act of scavenging and eating dead albenurics has turned them into somthing similar. A naturally occuring ablenuric perhaps. Crabs have been observed to be easily influenced by what they eat. For example the deathblight crabs that are covered in death root and are found in heavily deathroot infected areas

Ive heard this one before but i think its more likely that ranni killed seluvis for tryna to turn her into a puppet with his amber starlight. And then when he died all of his puppets got autonomy back and killed pidia because he did weird shit to them. But that doest rule out seluvis being a puppet or at the very least possessing a puppet body, as we see in sellens quest, sorcerers can carve out their primal glintstone and place it in a puppet body amd essentially live forever. So maybe thats what seluvis had done long ago and thats why when hes dead hes in the puppet pose
