This set has me captivated from start to finish. listened many times before. Something so polished and completed about this set, it never gives up on you at any point and maybe the cartoons are huge influence too. Its just a lovely mix man ha. He got all the little finiky back noises down to a T or the tunes selected have them all consistently. One high grade set this like. Big Baws.

i wonder which song, party or friend had you open up to this motion in your heart/ears? for me it was early Jean Michel Jarre or Tomita, many classics use electronic instruments like sythezisers.

I love this mix! I'm always coming Back to this. Come for the toons But stay for the tunes. EVERYtime I wish I could find/buy a really clean version

I'm bothered by how many people are just like "these cartoons are great!" like, no they're creepy in ways that most people today fail to even notice. Just think about the values people in the US had in the early decades of the 1900s. There's no way these cartoons don't have throwbacks to racism and other issues. Some of them barely even tried to hide it. I'm not about censoring these or pretending they never existed but to "appreciate" art from this time period without a bit of cynicism is SCARY.

I love the way the cartoons from way back are still being shown and are preserved in this way. I remember watching all of these! Wonderful trip back down memory lane with old cartoons and new music that just goes well with them all. I still feel that Boris should consider adding his work in the genre Trance. This shit is as good as it gets. He definitely lives in another world, and I like the view. Thanks Boris, you over achieve yourself on every song. Marvelously Awesome as always. Except that the story behind these styles of cartoons from this era go back to a much darker part of our history. When people decided they didn't want to watch cartoons of white folks beating up Natives or Black folks, they just replaced them with animals. Same cartoons, different faces. No one can beat this. Imo. And the cartoons, i agree with those who say are well placed 🖐🖑 Ps: 2020 vs 2019 mix... has somehow managed to mess with the "glue" in between some tracks. Yeah man, I actually just found out about the guy. I immediately started looking for more people like him... found out it’s hard to come by. If you have any recommendations let me know. Also, I don’t know if minimal techno has changed over time... or if he’s making something that’s not considered minimal. I’m not a big techno head (junglists here) so I’m rather lost on my new love for this sound. All I know is I want more, lots more of it. His 2018 set from Tomorrowland blew my freaking mind.
