NFT Bros are the most selfless people around. They are willingly removing themselves from the gene pool by showing any prospective relationships that they are incapable of rational thought, responsibility, taking care of a family, being capable of basic human understanding and interaction. It's a raffle with a minigame attached. A high stakes raffle. And they don't tell you what you'll be winning because then you'd be able to make a value analysis on whether it's worth your time and money. Also if they don't tell you what it is, you can speculate and your imagination goes wild, and the people who find this appealing will build up in their own mind what it actually is thus feeding your own enthusiasm at no cost to them.

Yep. Main reason I dont do the limited time event crap in games like War Thunder or world of tanks is because, often, as an average player, with average vehicles, with a free account, the rate of experience, or points, or whatever, that I can gain to get the rewards of those limited time offers is so low, that I would literally need to play 8-16 hours a day, every day, for the course of the special event... Not technically impossible, but basically proves only no-lifes can get the rewards for free. Those who do get the rewards are often those who throw money at it in some way, be it a premium account, or just buying whatever in game currency is tied to the event (because there's usually an option just to buy it, or at least buy loot boxes that have it). After a while... Yeah, I'm content never pursuing these things, knowing from the getgo theyre designed to separate you from your money, and designed to frustrate you into giving up and paying for it, if you go the free route. And those are actual games... I couldnt imagine doing all that for a sh@tty phone game, with a steep entry fee, and zero information on what winning actually gets you.

Worse - it's client-side, unobfuscated JavaScript - meaning it's extremely easy to hack and modify, and players have already cheated their way to optimized, perfect runs.
It’s like buying an image of one of those dress up flash games from the 2000s.
This reminds me of sketchy arcade competitions where the winner would be whomever got the highest score, and you had to pay a sign-up fee to compete. Sometimes, they'd charge you as much as $20 USD to sign up, and literally tens of people would be competing. The prizes were usually a gift card or $100 shopping voucher, or else special merch related to the game being played, worth maybe $80 tops in scarcity alone. The difference here is that you're talking several thousands of dollars for the opportunity to try it out, and nobody seems to know what the prize- assuming there even is a prize- is yet.
The most appalling thing about all of this is that there are so many people with a lot of money who are completely on board with it.

So here's what I hear from this whole pitch: "Okay so step one is you give us your money and we give you a paper raffle ticket and Chrome with no internet. You can play the dinosaur game as long as you want though (for three weeks) and if you get a cool score, it gets written on the back of your ticket, and if it's really cool, someone else might want to buy your ticket! (Disclaimer: them buying your ticket does nothing for you or them, buy at your own risk) Then after those three weeks, we're gonna take up everyone's ticket, take them behind a closed screen where YOU ABSOLUTELY NEVER GET TO SEE because we're NOT running a scam, and the ticket with the coolest score gets... Something! (As long as the ticket belongs to the original person who purchased the ticket which our "validation" totally can't just rig, honest. Watch, we'll pick a winner none of us have any block chain association with! (because we use 9 layers of sock puppet wallets)) So GIVE US ALL OF YOUR MONEY TODAY or you're stealing from us."

2:09 Some websites disable right clicking, but you can turn it back on yourself by using some code or by disabling JavaScript, but many websites need JavaScript to display anything, especially NFT websites since they are more complicated to make without JavaScript. So disabling JavaScript won't work there.
