For those that don't know neither Cohen nor Ken Davitian actually speak Kazakh, but Cohen is fluent in Hebrew and Davitian is fluent in Armenian. So they just speak back and forth to each other in those two languages the whole movie pretending like they can understand each other.

He speaks Hebrew quite well and as Borat, he was essentially speaking entirely in Hebrew, not Polish , not Yiddish, when he was supposedly speaking "Kazakh". I think he threw in one word, "Jagshemach", which is of Polish origin, but essentially everything he said in the fake "Khazakh" was intelligible to anyone who speaks and understands Hebrew, whether as a native speaker or a second-language speaker. He was, however, deliberately distorting the Hebrew with a mock Russian-sounding accent.

Are you saying Einstein was not Jewish? Because he definitely called himself a Jew and a Zionist. Or maybe Carl Marx wasn't Jewish? Or millions of other atheistic Jews all over the world? Jews are a nation with their own religion. I'm sorry if this fact doesn't sit well with your conviction, but deal with it anyway.

NOooooo...Israel is the Nation State, Judaism is the religion, and Jews are people who follow the religion. Jews are not, nor will they ever be a "nation". Nations are made of people, NOT, nor NEVER, the other way around!! Where are Jews from? Issac Asminov had never set foot in Israel, didn`t believe in God, and was totally against Zionism. Was he a "Jew"? Maybe it`s easier for you to classify people as "Jews", but it is a fallacy. The people you spoke of were European....with Jewish heritage. Einstein is a gray area, but Marx definetely did not believe in God. God is THE cornerstone of Judaism. You also seem to think that Judaism and Zionism are dependent on eachother. That is not true. I`m an atheist, yet I believe, to certain degree, that Jewish people should have a home in Israel aka the birthplace of their religion. Also, there is NO such thing as an "atheistic Jew", just as there is NO such thing as an "atheistic Christian". Sorry logic got in your way with this one, but deal with it anyway!!

He also said a couple of words in Hebrew in the end of the interview 3:23-3:46 BS: "Thank you very much, and..... ummm... and umm... also thank you for not doing something really bad to me... money money money, yes? you like a money.." Then he calls his sidekick Azamat Bagatov probably cause of being afraid of the Jewish man: "Azamat! Help me. Azamat, give me some help around here... i think he might jump on me.... i'm scared of him.." hope it's accurate :))

I like how people just saying hatefull sh*t about israel without realising that borat was speaking hebrew and "borat" is a jew with israeli parents, named "Sasha", a very common name for israeli-russians in here. he is just doing 1 thing, making anti-jews see how stupid they actually look. About the middleeast problems, in a way, israel of today was jewish- occupied for thousands of years, getting kicked out for nothing but rellegion, just to come back stronger after years of travelling for saftey, in 1948, israel was declared a U.N known country, and since then was under countless attacks by arab locals and nighboring muslim countrys, israel isn't trying to take land, 40 years ago they gave back to egypt 60% of what was called israel then, just for peace, they could keep this place for themselves and get rich upon egypt's loss, but they gave back the land, a land larger than israel itself, gaza was muslim since ever, and will stay that way, the porblem is that because of gaza being inside of israels territory, but no other country wants to take responsibillity about them, israel tries to stay clear of most of the area, and stay in the outsides of gaza, where they are ALLOWED to be, the ALLOWED area is a place where most of the terror is happening, from rock-throwing to molotovs and even stabbing, it is very common place for terror, if you are a soldier in israel, and you are deployed there, you are considered unlucky, the place isn't 100% terror, but this is the place the war took place, they were sending terrorists from there to hit israel citys, so israel counter-attacked after 6 months of terror, just to get teased by the world for killing innocents, in reality, MOST of the gaza civis who got hurt by the war, were hurt BY THE TERRORIST THEMSELVES.

Don't people tell you that german is an ugly language? I have been trying tolearn the language over the past couple years, and I've heard many english speakers say that. it bothers me because they are making judgments without having any understanding of the language.

the jurnalist asks Borat what he thinks about the Israeli Palestinian conflict and Borat answer "the conflict is not important to us becuase our problem is with Ozbekistan, they are bad people, those people, and they want to cause us problems all the time". the over part Borat said to the jurnalist "thank you for not doing anything very bad to me", then he makes a money joke and calls Azamat to come and help him, he told Azamat that he is afraid that the jurnalist will jump on him. Personally I think Sacha Baron Cohen nailed it, the junalist tries to "out" him with Hebrew speaking, but he stayed in Borat character the whole interview.
