Made this for my family and they loved it! I used less oil and a little more chili powder. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

In case anyone is interested, In authentic Afghan recipes after frying the eggplants you cook them with the tomato sauce that you have made.. that way the eggplants absorb the sauce flavour 💞

I’m half English half Iranian and I learn this dish from you! I make it for all my dinner party’s so delicious thank you

I'm a Cambodian married to an Afghan, I usually fry some onions with the garlic to add more flavour to the sauce and I drizzle some yoghurt on the plate before placing the eggplants on top followed by the sauce then the garlic yoghurt and sprinkle with some dry mint. I don't use dill in mine, I think it tastes better with dry mint compared to dill
