There's a lot more things that can be done to make Boracay tourism more sustainable. The travel from the airport to the jetty port needs more refinements,buying tickets looks chaotic too,there should be a roped line divider just like in the airport. The town center itself is cluttered with substandard food stalls.The town itself looks bare,with no greeneries to sooth the senses.The Dept of tourism should promptly look into these concerns before Boracay descends into complete disarray.

true dapat mag coordinate ung DPWh, DOTR, Dept tourism and local gov. and Private public partnership sa mga ganyan. Hindi ung bara bara pagkaka-layout and kanya kanya mga establishmnet kung saan nila gusto mag business. All over sa pinas ganyan kaya hndi well organize ska lack of aesthetics ang pinas

Tourism is the answer to the poverty problem in the Philippines. The government should put more thought and energy into this solution. The Philippines is the most beautiful country in the world and its people are also best in the world. My philipino wife and daughter and myself and 5 family members will be traveling to Boracay in July 2023. Our budget for this trip will be 200,000 pesos.

Nakaka banas nga itong Dep. of Tourism natin eh! Cheap ang mga facilities ng ating mga tourist destinations, sestema bulok! Mga beaches natin marurumi at may mga basura! Mga kalsada puro patches, at sira-sira yong iba, highways marumi, puro lupa ang tabi, daming eye sores, mga damo hindi magawang tabasan, sidewalks marumi, sira-sira ang pavements. Wala talaga tayong panama sa Thailand, haiiist! Makakahiya sa mga bisita!😏

Boracay had started them all.Since bora became popular among foreign backpackers pinoys then follow suit and bora became a byword of the growing interest of pinoys on beaches.Since bora became sensation for beach hangout galera cebu beaches dakak samal island la union and batangas beaches follow the boracay trend.Thanks to boracay for the magnetic example of making filipinos to love beaches more.

Great vid

I was here in June 2023 and took the same route as in this video and stayed at five star Henien Resort hotel on the main road close to the DMall. Visited the beach for sea bath and also went to Puka beach on hop on bus. I’m from Australia. A bit of hype and nothing spectacular and eating and eating seems to be the main agenda. I was charged about 1500 pesos for a crab meal at a restaurant inside the D’mall. I also lost my iphone 14 pro on arrival at the Manila airport on 17 June possibly stolen inside a hiring car from the airport to my hotel. Good video well detailed and recorded.

Boracay very beautiful but overcrowded! El Nido I prefer in Palawan n Coron island the last frontier its a paradise k!

BEAUTIFUL BUT SO CROWDED.

Too much sales people money grabbing tourist destination. Hope the officials looking after the boracays future should do something for cleanliness, cleaning up people around selling and serving tourist , look for any scams, laziness and neatness of the workers for all walks of businesses. Lighting should be improved, entertainment must be better and entertaining, continuing to clean up the environment all over and discipline is the key to success and this is for all government workers should do their work or job fast and efficient. Never show pretensions but honest to goodness . Smiles and naturally happy workers are a must. Good luck boracay!! Hope you won’t be close again.

I just visited Boracay this month, and we went to this place. Parang wala na tong mga street foods vendors just like what you've seen in this video.

Puro local tourists, konting lang mga foreign tourists, compared to Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore na sobrang dami talaga ng mga foreign tourists, wala pa sa kalahati ang pinas....nag pag- iiwanan na talaga tayo ng ating mga SEA neighbors.... Eto ang mga problema ng pinas kaya konti lang ang mga foreign tourists at hindi sila nagtatagal sa ating bansa: 1. Very few modern infrastructures. 2. Wala tayong modernong transportation 3. Mahina or walang internet 4. Nawawalan ng kuryente (brownout) 5. Mahina or nawawalan or walang tubig 6. Nakawan at kikilan sa NAIA airport 7. Expensive accomodations 8. Maraming mandurukot, snatchers at mga kriminal 9. Mga ganid na taxi at tricycle drivers over-charging/scamming foreign tourists 10. Mga basura or litters sa kalye at mga bangketa. Mga pinoy wala talagang disiplina. Kahit saan tayo nagtatapon ng mga basura/ litters natin. 11. Pati sa mga beach, dagat, gubat at bundok may mga basura din..mga plastic bottles, plastik supot, wrappers at kung ano ano pang mga litter/garbage. 12. Mga illegal vendors sa kalsada/bangketa, may vendor din sa gitna ng badian canyon, panglao sandbar at mga bangkang vendor sa dagat ng el nido at coron. Kaya madumi at maraming mga basura sa ating mga kapaligiran at kalikasan. MAGTINDA KAYO SA TAMANG LUGAR. 13. Illegal squatters, street dwellers and beggars everywhere, particularly children asking money from foreigners. Tapos sasabihin natin "Its more fun in the Phlippines" ??? Nakakahiya ! Tourism will boost our local economy kasi foreigners spend money in our country which helps our local business to earn more. The local and national government MUST do something to solve/fix these problems.

In the morning when everyone is asleep, you can have the whole beach for yourself or with someone as pretty as Heart Evangelista, so wake up early.

The number of tourists should be limited further with foreign tourists given priority. Locals can go to multiple other beach destinations. Else those fluffy white sand will soon turn into ugly compacted dirty white sand.

Oh no that's not right to restrict the local people. It's their own place first. I encountered that in NZ. As a child I could enter the Waitangi treaty grounds freely to walk on the grass or the beach. Then when I returned later in life it was paid entry. I am disgusted. Don't do that.

Laki ng kinikita ng LGU sa Environmental fee, di manlang magawang tanggalin ang lumot , kahit mosquito net kayang kayang tanggalin yan. Almost whole year nang may lumot. Mas preferred na tuloy pumunta ng local at foreign tourist sa Siargao kesa sa Boracay.

ang alam ko ang lumot ay nagiging buhangin sa beach ng boracay. hindi yan inaalis o itinatapon dahil yan ang nagpapadagdag ng buhangin sa boracay.

@@annalizavillanueva559 ma'am I was in Boracay last June 2022. Makapal ang lumot sa White Beach, kahit sa Puka meron din. Yung isang vlogger na madalas mag Boracay, may video sya last August 2022 , may lumot din. I was in Boracay last week. Every morning may nakikita akong mga nagwawalis ng lumot sa Bulabog beach, pero sa White beach, wala. Nakapunta na ako sa Sardegna sa Italy, pag may lumot doon, tinatanggal nila , using net , kasi nakakahiya sa mga turista. Katwiran nila, kailangan malinis at presentable ang lugar nila dahil malaki ang gastos ng mga turista para makarating sa kanilang lugar. Ayaw nilang mapahiya. Pwede naman po tanggalin sa tubig sa pamamagitan ng mosquito net ang mga algae at seaweeds at itambak sa may mga coconut trees. Ang importante malinis ang tubig.

@@annalizavillanueva559 pag ang lugar ay heavily dependent ang income sa tourism, dapat po open po tayo sa suggestions, para po hindi mawalan ng kita ang mga naghahanapbuhay. Nakita naman po natin ang epekto sa kabuhayan sa mga tao sa Boracay noong isinara ng higit sa isang taon dahil sa rehab.

People there in Caticlan should keep the area and beaches clean. I can see lots of papers and plastics. You guys you are selling your place for international tourists but it is dirty and chaotic!

Binaboy na naman nila ang Boracay. Naglagay na nman ng mga tindahan sa paligid ng lake. Dudugyot na nman uli 'yan.

I missed In 80,s is beacause theres no people at all, are only 2 .bamboss cottages to station 1. And station 3. Is only 1. Restaurant …. Sorounding ccoconuts tries.. no transpaortation .. .. people There are Etas, so beautiful ….. now every time Im in boracay , is just so crowded to much people.. and every ting is so expinsive…and puluted the Beach is a very bad. Too… i Think is clean beacuse of my tatay Degong💚🙏 President of the Philippines .. he told to boracay need to closed and need to clean Up Boracay Island 🙏

Maganda sana ang Boracay sayang nga Lang Dogyot tignan kac hindi organise ang kapaligiran. Sabog Sabog ang set up nyu. Bakit ba hindi nyu magawang gawing pang World Class talaga yang Mga Beaches dito sa Pinas. Sayang lang ang Ganda ng Bansang ito. Kung sa Babae pa maganda na sana kaya Dogyot nga at mukhang mabaho.
