Acabei de perceber a diferença entre o "O" aberto e fechado nas palavras -"bolo" e "bola". O avô e a avó comeram bolo e jogaram bola. Essa aula foi muito útil. Muito obrigada, Virginia.

When native speakers speak quickly, do they still worry about this nasal sound as much?

Eu sou estadounidense e meus pais falam um idioma eslavo (Serbocroato) e por isso muitos dos sons do português do Brasil me parecem muito naturais e instintivos. É interesante.

Há que ter cuidado com as letras "D" e "T", pois aqui no Nordeste não as pronunciamos como "Dje", "Dji" e "Tchi" e "Tche" como o pessoal do Sul do Brasil, mas as falamos de maneira mais "fiel" ao original.

É ótimo melhorar seu pronúncia tão bom quanto possível mas há algo especial sobre o gringo sotaque e fazendo erros que acho que tudo mundo adora 😂

I remember seeing somewhere that gosto as a verb and as a noun are pronounced differently, one with an open O and one with a closed O. But I don't remember which one is which. I must say that's the most confusing.
