That’s the whole thing. Sometimes the difference is 99 bucks or a few airline miles. Sometimes it’s a feee upgrade on an empty flight… but other times it’s 5x as much or more. If you get a meal out of it, 4-5 drinks and lounge access for a few hours it’s worth a couple hundred bucks…but a few thousand? I’ll usually go first class if it’s double the price or less.

The delta lounge is not a flex anymore , literally my delta Amex reserve gives me access to all the lounges the airport has to offer for free

I fly internationally every 3-6 weeks. No way I can afford 1st class for those frequent trips. Well, I can afford it but can't afford it. I rather keep throwing more money at my investments. 1st class....one day. No rush.

It really depends on the airline. Coach in American Airlines is great, but Coach in Spirit or Frontier is Hell on the sky.

Great advice. I am blessed and can afford to fly first class whenever I want but it’s one of the biggest scams. I will only fly first class for very long flights. Nothing about first class is life changing. Like you mentioned save that extra coin and invest it. What a lot of people don’t even realize it there are a lot of people in first class that are there on their company’s dime.

Man put me in the coach line I love being in the back anyways always fun In the back even when I used to ride the school buses or was in class 😩

I don't fly period unless overseas. All flights are public transportation like the public bus or train. First class just gives you some space from all the gutter people. Best bet drive your POV or get a private jet. Private is always better than public. Private school better than Public school. Private restroom better than public restroom. etc...

I'm a flight attendant. My family and I all work for the airline. Flying first class is only a great experience on flights over 5-6 hours. Outside of that, give a regular seat. I'm happy to be on the plane. Every time I flew first class it was for free. The benefit of working for the airline. I understand motivation don't go broke trying to keep up with the Joness.

i agree, i dont fly much, but when i do it's always uncomfortable and the seats are getting smaller

On our last vacation my girl flew us first class from Seattle to fort Lauderdale. The lounge preflight is easily the best amenity. The food during the flight I passed on because I fell asleep. The chairs were slightly more comfortable but not dramatically. The best part was meeting dejounte murray and the lounge. I'd say try it but it definitely isn't mandatory.

Y’all got me mentally jumping up and down from being motivated after watching this.
