@@jimmysgarage9068 He likes the sound of a higher-pitched voice, so that's where he mostly sings. It's a shame, though, because he has a fabulously rich, resonate baritone that we rarely get to hear. What do you consider an average range? I'd say it's about 2.5 octaves (among people in general, not professional singers), and Julian exceeds that.

I even pointed out it was a "joke song". It's SNL, obvously a comedic choice to overdue the auto-tune. As a kid I've heard many of their songs like I just had sex but didn't know their name. Now years later I've started watching Brooklyn 99 and became a big fan of Andy. It took me some days before i realized that he's part of TLI... Now i can't stop hearing their songs🙏🏼🙏🏼

I miss 2010, like damn we fr got Julian Casablancas crushing a vase in front of a bunch of old people having sex while he sang "A BOMB BOX IS NOT A TOOOYYYYY" WITH HIS ENTIRE HEART. Like where did all that creativity and fun go? :(

I love that in 1:16 Andy just stares really angry at the guy dancing. It's like "Yeah, don't you dare stop."

Moral of this story: Julian's voice was what the boombox was playing, that's why Julian sings only when talks about using the boombox. So Julian's voice purifies and cleanses the world.

Honestly I feel like Julian would be happier going into comedy, the dudes rambles in his concerts are hilarious

this is bringing me back to a time in my life where things were not going well for me, and binging lonely island music video was one of the only things that made me laugh. it feels so weird that a joke about boiled goose makes me feel so sentimental

Julian is adorable and has a great voice.
