I'd be terrified. Cuz it'll mean I'm about to get worse (a new symptom will appear).

I love how Foreman doesn't even act confused or surprised when he hears the boombox. He doesn't wonder what's going on. He KNOWS right away that it's House.

What kills me about this is that the boombox was a legitimate way of testing a theory about Seth's condition, he could've just walked in, but the boombox on his chest and turned it on....but House still took the time to dance to the music before trying it out.

Actually that's the point of having Foreman on the team. His job is to disagree with house and make reasonable arguments. And it helps the differential, like many times House changes his diagnosis, or changes the underlying cause or treatment after his conversations with Foreman ( and also Wilson). Cuddy once said he had the perfect team in early seasons - Foreman will try to anything to prove House wrong and Chase will do anything to prove him right. And Cameron is there to tame him, via ethical/emotional angles. When Foreman has near death experience at the end of season 2, be suddenly stops arguing with house and house nearly fires him for that. This show has way too complex characters....

I was glad they found away to bring Amber back, I loved her character and was gutted when she died and heartbroken for Wilson because he finally found happiness again. And you could tell that House actually liked her (not like, like, like Wilson! But as a person.) and this season showed his guilt for her death and that’s why he kept seeing her.

I was thinking of one or more scenes from Mr. Holland's Opus. In that movie, the main character's son is also deaf. The sons' name was Cole I think. I know Cole liked to turn up the then new fangled rock music nice and loud so he could feel the vibrations. He "listened" to the stuff just like other teens his age.

JimmyG That's the beauty of time, we can remember the fondness we felt for TV shows without having to relive the pains in the ass that came with them. I too have such find memories of playing The Thing on PS2 with my best friend, going out and wandering around town at night when it was blistering cold outside as though we were living the game, then going back to his house and watching plain old over the air TV, whatever came on was what we watched, and there was something special about not being able to control that. If Cheers was on, we watched Cheers, even though neither of us would ever deign to do so on our own. And you know what? we liked watching Cheers. Incidentally House was one of our favorite shows in high school... But my point is that while internet on demand viewing is basically superior in every way, but there really is some charm to watching whatever the TV showed you (with some limited control as to channel and time, of course). You could also leave the TV on it would keep playing SOMETHING or other no matter what. ...or maybe I'm just getting old and reminiscing.

For a guy with a limp, House gets pretty jiggy with it.

Ryan Lane (the deaf patient) is actually profoundly deaf in real life. Also he looks like if Matt Damon, John Cena & Channing Tatum teamed up to have him as a baby. I’m even getting hints of Mark Wahlberg.

Honestly, the best part about all of this is how everybody in the room behind him is carrying on with their work while barely even paying attention to him. Like, anything that House does doesn't even phase them at this point.

Oh my goodness, I had to stand up to keep laughing when he walked in. 1:10-1:30 is the funniest scene I've seen with Laurie in a long time.

House doing this is how kids in the 80s-90s felt every day. That was a very funny skit he did. The writers must’ve been in stitches when they saw the footage

This scene is too funny hahaha. And it's interesting how he was able to have a cool interaction just fine with the kid, while the mom bitched about his approach

I always found the Amber hallucination being like a separate bank of memory for House to draw information from kinda interesting.

Watching these short KZread videos always makes me want to go back to watching House. Then I eventually give in, binge watch the whole show, get sad that it is over and avoid these videos for a while. Then I give in again, watch these videos and the vicious cycle continues.

It's been a long time since I saw this episode, so when I saw the thumbnail I thought "How great would it be if he was playing Public Enemy?" What's doubly ironic is the clip starts with House recalling dormant information from his subconscious mind.
